If I were to rate move in just itself I would give it 0 stars, but accounting for management I'd give it a 1. So upon move in, our (my boyfriend and I's) 2x2 apartment was not cleaned. It was completely forgotten about when it came to cleaning in between residents and it was left exactly how the previous residents left it: filthy carpets and floors, uncleaned bathrooms, crumbs and bugs in the pantry, lights that won't turn on and switches that don't work, a washer and dryer with hair all in it, the dryer was full of water and the exhaust was disconnected. The air was turned off so when you walked in you were hit with a wall of what smelled like mold but was told "it's not mold, just the air being off"-management. All of the vents were covered in black crud and the blinds/fans covered in dust. The list goes on. I notified management immediately and they sent a cleaner over shortly after. The cleaner was there for about 3 hours and I left to give them some space. I came back and the apartment looked the same except the bathtubs (not shower walls), and toilet bowls were "cleaned" (despite hair still being in it) and the outside of the kitchen cabinets were wiped down. Everything else from the floors to the stains on the ceilings and the black crud on the air vents and everything in between looked as if it was untouched by the cleaners. I told management this, they came back to look at the unit, and just said the rest of the cleaning is up to me to do myself. They felt bad so they gave me a concession to next month's rent. But that still doesn't resolve the fact that I'm doing their job by cleaning up after the previous residents. So with that, move in has been terrible since I haven't been able to move much in since I'm spending the whole time cleaning everything.

I requested a virtual tour and immediately received a confirmation with the scheduled time. On the day of the tour, I also received a reminder email, which was very helpful. My guide, Keylan, was personable, professional, and very thorough. He showed me the neighborhood, building amenities, security features, and the unit itself. Whenever I had questions he wasn't certain about, he followed up promptly and called me back to make sure I had all the answers I needed. I truly appreciated the excellent customer service and attention to detail. It made the entire experience smooth and enjoyable. Highly recommend!

I was a resident for one year and had a very pleasant experience living at Oktiv. Maintenance works hard and is very quick to assist. Leasing agents are very kind and helpful. Clubhouse is clean and well taken care of. The outdoor grills by the pool always started and made for great pool days. Highly recommend living here! If I was in the area for more time, I would’ve leased here again. Cons: Balcony was closed the entire duration of my lease. Minimal updates from staff and little to no progress from the contractors. In the phase of moving out now and hoping it is an equitable process, as they require a large security deposit without a co-signer.

I would like to thank Ashley for all of her assistance during our leasing process. She was very communicative and was incredibly helpful throughout the process. I highly recommend her and the staff at the Oktiv if you are unfamiliar with college apartment leasing and have questions or need assistance. They will make the leasing process simple and easy.

facilities are great but the actual workers here are a little ridiculous. We first arrived with our apartment completely unclean and it had not been cleaned for the entire summer. They sent some cleaning crew at like 8pm to clean our apartment. The room smelled like cigarettes which is hilarious because we were given a warning for smoking when the maintenance workers are literally smoking in the rooms as well. The paint job on about every single is absolutely terrible, I, a 19 year old with no experience working with that, have done better painting. It’s ridiculous -paint on the chairs on the walls everywhere in your room. On top of all of this we were sold an apartment that said it had a balcony and when we arrived the balcony was under construction. Compensation was offered although very ridicule. Whoever runs this place needs to wake up a little bit, the staff are very nice and the front desk are always helpful, so is maintenance.
