I rarely leave reviews, but I feel other families should be aware of our experience with The Boulevard at Tallahassee. Stay Away! My son was scheduled to move in on May 8, 2026. After driving approximately 7 hours to Tallahassee, we arrived to find an apartment that was not move-in ready. The unit had a strong odor of marijuana, was visibly dirty, and still contained items left behind by occupant, including a liquor bottle and NyQuil. Even more concerning, there was a nail in the carpet that my son stepped on, creating a serious safety hazard. There was no management available on move-in day to relocate him to another apartment or provide assistance. As a result, my son was left without housing for several days, and I had to secure alternative accommodations at my own expense. When I returned to the leasing office seeking help, I was initially told that Carol Miles was unavailable. She was present in the office, but when I spoke with her, she stated that she was off duty and that the matter would be handled on Monday. I explained that we had driven seven hours and that my son had nowhere to stay, and that I needed to be released from the lease because the apartment was not safe or suitable for him to occupy. I felt that my concerns were dismissed rather than addressed with the urgency they deserved. Ms. Miles acknowledged receiving my emails but stated that the matter was not a priority and that corporate would make the final decision. I repeatedly requested corporate’s contact information so I could escalate the matter myself, but it was not provided. I was told that corporate would contact me by the close of business. As a parent of a college student, I expected professionalism, empathy, and a willingness to help resolve a serious housing issue. Instead, I experienced what I felt was rude, dismissive, and inconsiderate treatment during an already stressful situation. In my opinion, the level of customer service I received did not reflect the professionalism that families should expect when entrusting a property with their student’s housing. I hope management and corporate take this feedback seriously by improving apartment inspections before move-in, responding promptly to health and safety concerns, and ensuring that staff treat residents and their families with professionalism, respect, and compassion.

My daughter is a college student paying rent every month on time. Her air conditioner has been out for 2 weeks. Which is unacceptable. They have put in several work orders and called every day. They are told every day it will be fixed the next day. Today my daughter and her roommate went in the office to talk to the manager, while I’m on the phone. They told her what was going on, she kept telling them other people are waiting months for ac units and it’s better for their utility bill if ac is not working it will lower it. That is her response to them asking for help. I stayed quiet for as long as possible in hopes that she would hear them out and try to accommodate them. I eventually had to intervene after hearing her say this over and over again to them and about to dismiss them. I told her it’s not about what other people are waiting on. This about my daughter, her roommate and a potential a health concern for these young ladies to endure the heat and waking up in middle of night drenched in sweat. She stated they should have at some point been offered window unit and box fans. Which they were not & I told her that. It took me literally speaking up for them for her to call the maintenance guy to come in the office and tell him to take them a window unit and fans. She said the new ac should be in and replaced tomorrow.

Khalil from maintenance is amazing! I broke my bed, put in a request, and he came and fixed it the very next day. He’s super fast, helpful, and gets the job done right. Really appreciate how reliable and kind he is, he definitely makes living here better.

I had a tour with Makayla and she was amazing. Super impressionable and sweet. Definitely made me want to move here

Out of all the student apartment complexes The Blvd is by far one of the best I’ve had the opportunity of living in. Management (Carol & Sierra) is amazing & if you’re willing to work with them they will go to the end of the earth for you!!
