I would caution families to think carefully before signing a lease with Cottage Row Stillwater or its parent company, The Tailwind Group. Our family experienced a serious medical situation that made it impossible for our student to continue school, and we were left trying to manage the emotional impact, medical bills, enrollment complications, and housing obligations at the same time. Despite the circumstances, Cottage Row and The Tailwind Group were unwilling to help us find a replacement tenant or work with us toward a practical resolution. Based on our experience, families should review the lease terms closely, ask direct questions about medical emergencies and hardship situations, and make sure they understand that no flexibility will be available if a serious crisis occurs.

Rent is ridiculous and they find a way to add fees over time so that your rent keeps growing. I live in a two person duplex and am supposed to pay 725 before utilities. This past month I payed $936 dollars in rent! DO NOT live here if you are looking for an affordable option. It seems nice but you are receiving a similar level of quality that you can find elsewhere in Stillwater for MUCH less. Maintenance responds fairly quickly and there is lots of storage, but that’s about it.

Our maintenance crew here at cottage row Stillwater is amazing!! They are always super responsive and helpful. They always explain what’s going on after they are done fixing things. Overall great people! Kable today came and checked on our washer because it wasn’t spinning, of course he got it to work and explained what to do if it ever happened again. Great maintenance crew!

Don’t do it! The concept of a college person being responsible for just the room is great, however, this place is a nightmare. The place they show you during the tour is beautiful, the place they will actually live in is a college kids dump. The rent is never, ever , ever what you think it will be. $675/ month? Nope, sorry including fees and utilities and whatever they add, try $865 and higher . They are impossible to get ahold of if you have a maintenance issue. And trust me, you will have them. Please parents, don’t let your kid do this.

DO NOT CHOOSE COTTAGE ROW. My car was broken into twice and gunshots were fired in the neighborhood on more than one occasion. Do not live here unless you’re ok with paying almost 1000$ a month for a 5 bedroom cheaply made house with disgusting carpet and floors. I didn’t have any amenities in the 10 months I lived here. My entire balcony also came off of the house, not safe at all.
