Fireside District Apartments, stephenville-tx

Fireside Apartments were extremely nice to stay at. Quiet and the best part for sure was distance from campus. I definitely enjoyed my stay minus a bad roommate but overall it’s Great!!

As my first and last lease at Fireside comes to an end, I wanted to share my experience. Unlike the other recent reviews, my time at Fireside was less than ideal. In a nutshell, the appliances provided did/do not always function, the office hours are unstable, and the amount you pay is rent is really high given these poor circumstances. Specifically, the dryer never worked from day 1. My roommate and I tried drying smaller loads but that still took 3-4 cycles to actually dry, which racked up the electric bill significantly by the end of the month. Throughout the year, I had minimum 10 maintenance requests for this specific issue, and it was NEVER solved. As far as the office hours, half the time when I tried to get a parking pass or package during the listed hours, nobody was there and a sign on the door stated something along the lines of "sorry for the inconvenience, we are closed for today but will be back tomorrow." While I think this is appropriate occasionally, once (or more) a week is a bit much. In all honesty, these few things are just the tip of the iceberg. The only reason I gave Fireside 2 stars instead of 1 is because the staff (and maintenance) always seemed genuinely very kind. Also, I will say the roommate I got matched with was lovely. I just wish I could have had a positive experience like I anticipated from the other reviews! If you are a student wanting an easy transition into college, this is not where I would reccomend. Several other complexes in Stephenville have lower rates, better amenities, and working appliances.

The best place for students to stay! The place is so clean, pet friendly, and so close to TSU! We love Maggie, the manager! John and Tyler for the maintenance, also Anna and all the staffs, they are so helpful, nice, and friendly!

Lived here for 3.5 years! Absolutely loved the place, short walk to campus, beautiful pool, and always helpful anytime I needed assistance or had questions!! The club house is perfect for parties and studying, used it all of the time!! Miss you Fireside & employees l!!

When moving in for the ‘25 fall semester at Tarleton I had an amazing experience. The women at the front office (Anna) greeted me with a smiling face and very friendly service! Any questions I had was met with a very clear response. Can’t wait to be staying at fireside!
