The View Apartments, state-college-pa

I’ve had a really positive experience living here! The apartment itself is well-maintained, and the amenities are awesome! The clubhouse and gym have been closed for a long period of time, but I am looking forward to seeing the updates. One of the standout aspects of this complex is the maintenance team!! I wish I knew their names, but we have had several guys come for requests, which have all been handled quickly and efficiently. Snow removal is another area where this place really excels. The team clears things out very quickly after storms, which is something I know isn’t the case at a lot of other complexes. The location is also ideal, and having the bus pass included has been a major convenience. I think this may be replaced with a shuttle system next year, which I’m a bit less excited about, as the bus system is currently a strong perk. I also want to mention that Gabriella has been very helpful. She has always been responsive and easy to reach whenever I’ve had questions or concerns.

The view is awesome!! Great amenities and wonderful pickleball court!! Renewed and can’t wait for next year!! Crystal from day 1 of signing my lease has been the sweetest.. I can always count on her! If you are debating on where to live i’m Happy Valley this is definitely the place for you!!! I can’t wait for next year

7/22 edit — just wanted to add that I was very impressed with Mckenzie at the front desk today. Her professionalism and understanding meant a lot. I’ve been pleasantly surprised living here. Management is pretty responsive, and the maintenence guys are awesome. I do wish that the leasing office hours were longer so I can access printing services in the early evening. Construction on the clubhouse ended (?) recently, but it was disappointing to lose access to those services for so long during my lease. Also — and this is a total nitpick — the lifeguard chairs were removed from the volleyball court! Are they going to be replaced? I really enjoyed sitting there and relaxing when the court is empty. Anyway, I’m generally happy here and glad I chose the View compared to other apartment complexes in the area.

I’ve lived here for 2 years and overall had a really good experience. As I’m graduating, I’ll definitely miss living here. The rooms are spacious, having your own bathroom is a huge plus, and the price is honestly good for what you’re getting compared to other apartments in the area/downtown. Management and maintenance have always been helpful and responsive, and I really loved having access to the CATA bus since it made getting around super convenient. That being said, there are definitely some downsides. The wifi is pretty unreliable and often doesn’t work well, the walls are very thin so you can hear neighbors next door and above, and I could constantly hear the dryer clicking from my room. I’m also frustrated that the office has been under renovation for months, so residents have had to use The Valley’s amenities instead. Overall, it’s been a solid place to live with a convenient location, good-sized rooms, and helpful management. While there are definitely some noise and maintenance issues that could be improved, I’ve enjoyed my time here and will miss living here after graduation.

We started looking for apartments right before move in, and Nia made it super smooth for us. Honestly, we were able to give up on the lease here and Nia was able to help us close the lease and make everything easy and smooth. Huge shout out, I recommend her as THE person from application to tour to final lease signing.
