The Graduate, state-college-pa

I LOVED living at the Graduate! Best deal to live downtown hands down. The apartment is super nice with rent cheaper than all the new high rises. Granted, I had a really great view from the apartment I had. Would be great for engineering students as it is close to west campus, but I walked or bussed to mine no problem. Great location on west side of downtown! You can walk anywhere in 20 min max. Maintenance was always fast and the staff actually care about YOU! That is not always something you’ll experience with renting. ALSO, don’t even get me started about the COUCHES in that place. While many places put the cheapest couch they can find, The Graduate gives you a really nice comfortable couch. I still dream of that couch.

I don't agree with any of the bad reviews here, especially considering how old some of them are dated, and this hotel was opened (after being purchased and changed from the Atherton) only 2 months ago. It's amazing! So cozy, every detail is thought through. Beautiful interior, friendly staff. $8 parking garage. We stayed in the king suite and didn't want to leave. The beds, marresses and pillows, are very, very comfortable. The blankets are light yet warm. Can't wait to be back!

Staff is pretty accommodating but if you are assigned a unit on the first floor, do not lease here. The carpet is ripped up and bugs get inside since you are below the ground. Also, first floor does not have laundry so you have to try every floor to snag a washer/dryer.

Moved daughter in today and we were very pleased! Staff was helpful and accommodating - check in was easy! Apartment was clean and freshly painted. Very happy to recommend

My son hand a great experience living at the Graduate! Management was responsive and easy to work with. We had no issues with the apartment and it is in a great location! 100% recommend!
