I’d give zero stars if I could. easily the worst company to rent an apartment from in all of state college. Maintenance was essentially useless constantly shutting off the water (sometimes without any notice), and the property would find any way to blame residents for any issue they have rather than addressing the issue. They refused to replace one of four dryers shared for an entire building since it “worked” even though it always required 2+ loads to work and generated almost no heat. They ended our lease by taking cleaning fees out of our deposit after we cleaned the apartment throughly. do NOT lease from GN

Overall, I had an okay experience. I will preface this by saying my review is mostly because I think the office folks are genuinely so kind and helpful and I appreciate them a lot. As far as where we lived in the graduate... It was okay. Not great. You get the feeling that things are allowed to slide for so long because we’re all college students, which isn’t okay. We only had one out of two elevators for 98% of the school year. And half the time it was down. That’s not okay considering the potential accessibility needs of resident and visitors. We would frequently get last minute emails informing us the elevator was down for several hours at a time, multiple times a month. Sometimes it would just be down. I understand that’s the elevator company but it seemed like there needed to be a new contractor. Having the Vibe coffee shop in the lobby of the building was great. They are a seperate, small business but are the best perk for residents. great coffee!! The actual apartment we had was clean on move in with a beautiful new couch. The blue carpet in the bedrooms is terrible though. Every drop of lint or anything shows up. We had to vacuum constantly and you have to pay out of pocket to get the carpets cleaned professionally at the end of the year. Didn’t like that as I understand some residents won’t care for carpets but we did keep it clean and vacuumed all year. Overall, okay living with solid location (quick walk to the bus).

GN has been nothing but great. Their employees in the office are always helpful and welcoming. Gretchen does a fantastic job and is very accommodating and responsive to emails or anything else you may need. Maintenance comes in a blink of an eye and fully fixes any issues without hassle. I highly recommended leasing with GN as my roommates and I have lived in Burrowes Corner for two years now and they are fantastic.

I lived with GN Associates for multiple years, never had any issues with maintenance or office staff. Always very respectable and quick to answer any question or concern I had. Filing maintenance requests and paying rent is quick and easy. I always receive about week or two notice if they were doing any work in the buildings. Overall great experience for me and I would recommend.

My son had a great experience living at The Graduate. Great location! We had no issues with the apartment. Whenever we had questions, management was always easy to work with. Recommend 100%.
