Decent price compared to the other expensive apartments downtown. Location was pretty great too. Only a 4-5 minute walk to the white loop bus stop. I just wished the washers and dryers all worked. I found myself switching between floors but other than that it was a pretty great spot! Huge living room and our apartment had surprisingly a lot of storage space. My roommate and I appreciated that

After a year of suffering, I'm glad to announce that I have escaped this wretched place. Let's start with the positives. ... Now let's get to the negatives. The place is grimy, smelly and outdated. The entrances of the building aren't secure and anyone can enter it. It's in the nosiest place in town (you're surrounded by frat houses so good luck studying for that final exam). Each floor is given only ONE washing machine and ONE dryer. Yes, for each floor. You're talking about around 10 apartments so that's a minimum of 10 people (obviously more) who depend on one washer and dryer like we live in a prison. The apartment itself isn't horrible, but it was definitely not worth price. You'd think I lived in a luxury apartment considering the fact that I paid 1275 DOLLARS per month and that's without the outrageous electricity bills (I once paid 232 dollars during the height of winter.) Heck, they charged me more than 50 DOLLARS when I wasn't even in that sad old apartment during the summer. ALL THE LIGHTS WERE OFF AND THE AC WASN'T ON. They also had the bright idea of suddenly changing my bedroom floor from a carpet which was comfortable to HARDWOOD FLOORS. It was noisy as hell, and they decided to do it randomly a month or two before my lease ended. I had to move all of my stuff outside of my bedroom. Who the hell does that to their resident?? Why not do it when I formally move out? I cleaned the apartment before moving out, yet they charged me around 130-140 dollars for cleaning. And all of that was the tip of the iceberg. If you're a college student looking for an apartment or a parent looking for an apartment for their child, DO NOT RENT HERE. You'll hate yourself, trust me. Screw this company and the witches who'd smile when I visit their office but still screw me over.
