I have lived in a property managed by the management for four years. Here are my takeaways. Pros : 1. Prompt Response : they respond promptly to issues such as broken HVAC, water heater etc. (the reason for 2 star instead of 1) Cons : 1. No preemptive maintenance on the property. They do not check for HVAC or anything on the property. They might charge you for it afterwards. 2. Unprofessional staff :: staffs are unprofessional. They would treat you not as a customer, but the other way around. They would think that you have no where else to go except their property. Their emails are very rude. 3. Take all the time that they need to send deposit back at the last minute. + In our case, funnily enough they sent it to their own property. — i mean we are getting the deposit back because we moved out. Overall, i would rent from them only if you were a short term visitor, looking for

Extremely disappointed with Nitannt Property Management. They unfairly withheld my security deposit without proper explanation or justification. Despite repeated follow-ups, I have recevied 80$ of 755$. They dont wanna talk with me on the phone. . This experience felt dishonest and unprofessional. I would strongly caution others to be very careful before renting through them.

Utilizes bait and switch tactics on certain listings to lure people into useless apartment showings. Lists their apartments as single family homes on purpose to get more clicks, and then says ”read the fine print at the bottom: it says we can’t guarantee the listing is accurate”. and then follows up with the excuse that they don’t have time to accurately list their properties with their staff given the insanely high numbers of properties that they own. And that is a flat out lie because they obviously have the time to waste prospective tenants’ times on properties they’re understandably not even going to want to rent because the photos don’t match the unit, not even by a longshot. They just seemed awfully nervous when I questioned them about why they wouldn’t want to keep things honest.

We rented a townhome at Forest Edge complex from 2016-beginning of 2020. My wife and I really enjoyed our years at this property. NPM overall took good care of us. We primarily felt cared for by Megan and Jeremy. One time our dryer died and they went to bat for us to have the owner replace it not us. We also felt that maintenance was very responsive to come and check on issues. There might have been a few times where I needed to do some calling/emailing to follow up but never felt a reluctance on their end to help us out. We would have no hesitancy recommending renting from them.

I lived at the W Cherry Ln apartments in the past five years. It is pretty much the best place in my opinion one can find in State College for young scholars. It is quite affordable, very quiet, convenient in terms of grocery shopping, and most importantly, close to campus. The management is very responsive and efficient in maintenance. Mostly I got the maintenance team coming over on the same day. The management officers are very professional and thoughtful. I have received several emails from them reminding of noise complaints, etc. Since the start of the pandemic, our unit has been cleaned and disinfected on a regularly basis. When I moved out, I reached out to Liz, who is on their management team. She quickly responded to me with a detailed subletting and move-out procedures, and followed up with me, and the sublets consistently. With her professionalism, the process went extremely smoothly. However, nothing is perfect. The W Cherry Ln apartments are of a certain age. Although, they do have renovations every once in a while. To summarize, if you are a scholar, and want to live somewhere nice and quiet, so that you can devote yourself to your work, this is THE choice.
