This company is there to scam you. I live in Centre Court, and while I was away for the summer I get many notices that maintenance people are coming to do work on the apartment. What they don’t tell you is that they will not clean up a single bit of the mess they make. Drilled drywall all over my bed and floor when I arrived. You’d expect more care from the maintenance team for $1,425 a month rent. It gets worse. I went back for a weekend over the summer. I got a new phone prior, and my room key didn’t work when I arrived. So I had to request a new one. They weren’t issuing me one, so I had to call. Said their IT team was on vacation so they sent a maintenance man to open the door. Took him 5 minutes. HOWEVER, they charged me $165 as an overtime fee for the maintenance man. The description said he was there for an hour. A pathetic, greedy, and slimy corporation. Purely out for the greed of stealing money from college kids on loans. If you are going to pay a premium price for an apartment, spend your money wisely with other companies in the area. Do not live at ARPM.

ARPM has a good, established rental system. We worked with Michele (rental agent) at ARPM to secure an apartment and parking spot for our son. She was very pleasant to work with, very knowledgeable, and most importantly, she was upfront and honest with us. She was always available to answer his questions as well. I highly recommend contacting Michele if you or your student are in the market for off-campus housing.

I’ve had great experiences with the maintenance staff. After making a call to ARPM, I was easily able to schedule a service appointment for the following day. The team member who came to help was friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to get my issue resolved. I really appreciate having quick access to these resources.

We were a little worried when we saw some reviews, but we rented the new house on Boalsburg Pike. Since than, our experience with ARPM has been excellent. As for the security deposit, we got it back because we fallowed the guidelines that were also provided by ARPM. We would definitely rent with them if we ever move back to State College.

Do not rent 337 E McCormick. ARPM rented this property to my husband and I with the full knowledge that the partially finished basement floods whenever there is rainfall. This is clearly an ongoing problem, as evidenced by the water levels along the walls, and the reports of maintenance workers. We rented this house thinking we could use the finished basement as a home gym, and nearly had all our equipment ruined. During the 6 weeks we rented this property, the basement flooded 4 times, with 2-3 inches of standing water. This then caused a massive mold problem. Mold is currently growing on the walls of the basement, and has not been cleaned by ARPM. See photos below. I am writing this review so future tenants know to ask whether the flooding issue has been resolved prior to moving in.
