Lakeside Student Living, starkville-ms

I’m not a resident, but I recently interacted with the front office at Lakeside Student Living and had a great experience. The staff were extremely friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process. They took the time to answer all my questions clearly and made sure I felt taken care of, even as a non-resident. It’s obvious they care about people and take pride in providing excellent service. Based on my experience alone, I would highly recommend them!

Been living here for 7 months, and its been great! Maintenance is quick and tries very hard to meet expectations. The apartment itself has a nice layout and the complex is well managed. I have yet to have an issue they couldn't help resolve.

Amazing staff and very nice. My friends and I are very happy with our apartment and just renewed our leases. I would definitely recommend leasing here it’s a very pretty and affordable.

Living here is great, the office staff is super helpful specifically Parish. The pool is amazing and the other amenities are great as well. Rent is relatively low and the maintenance staff is super helpful as well.

This place isn’t worth the trouble, don’t let anyone convince you otherwise they charged me 300$ in late fees on top of my rent. When I called to pay my rent on time they told me “don’t worry about it it’s confirmed on our end” I asked about the late charges they couldn’t explain to me where they came from or why I was charged so much. I called them to tell them that the money to pay my rent bounced twice and they encouraged me to continue charging my card to build up return fees (that also have late fees). They told me wait till Tuesday to talk to the bookkeeper and didn’t tell me anything about a notice of eviction. Come Tuesday the 16th I was served the eviction at the exact time they charged me court fees and the eviction notice instead of giving it to me the 12th the Friday it was printed making me wait through the weekend to build more charges. I finally get to talk to the bookkeeper refused to listen to anything I had to say or explain to me about what I could do about the late fees. She told me a machine charges everyone and no one knows how the machine works but corporate. Her replies didn’t make me think she cared about helping me solve the issue. I asked about being served on the 16th when I could’ve been served on the 12th. She denied it being printed even though it had the date. Don’t lease with these people they don’t have your best interest at heart. Update: They disabled the pay option without even telling me any information on what to do to pay them. Paid 859$ in total through this ordeal my rent was originally 509$.
