Auden Apartments, spartanburg-sc

I absolutely love living here! The staff goes above and beyond to make residents feel welcome and valued. Everyone is so friendly, helpful, and responsive whenever I need anything. The property is always kept clean, and the community has a great atmosphere. Moving here was one of the best decisions I made, and I would highly recommend this apartment complex to anyone looking for a place that truly feels like home.

DO NOT MOVE HERE!! This complex is nasty!! They are so unprofessional won't fix anything in your apartment and they will give you a lot of unnecessary fines. Hold you hostage until you find somebody to take your lease even if it wasn't on the lease you signed DO NOT COME HERE!!! They are ROBBING RESIDENTS. NEED A LAWSUIT AGAINST THIS APARTMENT COMPLEX!!

This is a really decent transitional apartment for college students. I stay in a 2 bed, and I have no complaints regarding rooming. Never had a rodent or bug issue. Maintenance is very punctual and kind. Sometimes things do get checked off but not actual fixed like my dishwasher. Security is on it! I’ve never not felt safe here. I had an issue unrelated to Auden Upstate that they were able to get under wraps quickly. I just wish leasing was a little more lenient and gave more grace to the college students who do live here.

I am giving this apartment complex a 1-star review but since they remove those reviews I am putting a 2-star review. Don’t believe the reviews you see on here. Everyone I know that lived here is super unhappy. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO STAY HERE. They are so quick to fine people for anything. I had multiple fines from having trash outside in the trash bins and I stated that Valet Trash wasn’t picking it up and they asked for proof. Well, I finally got proof of it happening and they now won’t respond to my 6 emails I have sent in the past month. We are now getting fined for having a couple plastic chairs outside on our balcony. They go out of there way to find any way to fine the residents. You should feel at home when staying at an apartment complex away from home and going to school and this place makes it miserable. I am so happy to finally be out of this complex. If you are a student at upstate, please stay away from this place.

It’s a nice place to live, you get your own room and bathroom! It’s clean. The staff at the front desk when you get packages are the sweetest! I will say though that this new trash policy is unreasonable. I’m never home at 5pm to put the trash out, (I have school + work) and I’m not allowed to leave it out all day for it to be taken at 5pm. One time I got a warning to be fined, because someone else left A PIECE of trash by my door. The people above me party A LOT so there’s always people dropping stuff on their way down. So that felt very unfair. The maintenance people are very nice and helpful! Overall I like it here, it’s so close to usc upstate so the location is perfect it’s right next to the dorms! You still feel apart of campus!
