Really recommend!! Since I got into UW I’ve been moving once a year until I find this apartment. I’ve lived here for two years, and I think it’s the ideal housing for college students. I live in one of the 3b2.5b units. The view is great, rent is affordable, we got ample sunshine, and the space is even bigger compared to those expensive luxury apartments. The management team are super friendly and responsive, all my work orders were fulfilled in one day. (That’s very impressive! I lived in other apartments, I know how slow this can be). It is a fairly old building and stuff happens, but I don’t want those reviews from years ago impact what it’s like now. The building was renovated, they also renewed all the laundry machines 🥳. Honestly it’s makes sad having to move out.

Honestly, I like it here. I think it's reasonable pricing for students and I like that the rooms are pretty spacious. Chris is so nice and takes cares of problems very quickly which I appreciate. Also like the Amazon lockers and I haven't really had problems with stolen packages. If you are worried though you can always ask Chris to grab it for you and he'll hold it in his office which I also appreciate. Took off one star because I personally prefer a in unit wash and dryer but it's not bad for the price.

I lived here for 2 years and overall, it's a pretty nice experience. Pros: I personally really like the giant mirror on the bedroom closet door. Our bedrooms (3b2.5b) have either west or south facing window so we got plenty of sunshine, which could get pretty hot in the summer. The living room's huge, and the kitchen layout's decent too. We never had serious problem with mold but yeah in terms of bugs, it's an old building. Before electricity(the management team takes care of internet and water/garbage), we pay $1050/month per person, and we all agree this is very reasonable for Seattle. There's not much other amenities. Package locker is a bonus and I never lost package here. It's also very walkable to the campus and grocery stores and public transportation. It's really good in terms of how much they ask for and it's Seattle. Cons: laundry room. The price for laundry keeps going up and now it's $5 for a full load of laundry (wash&dry). There's only 4 washers and 4 dryers for building 1, so yeah, this is the biggest inconvenience living here. My bedroom's the top floor and right next to i5, so it could be pretty noisy at night, in addition to construction in the neighborhood during daytime. The new management team seems not as sharp as what we had before. It took them a month to fix my blinds. Lastly, there's no guest parking available so you need to figure out yourself where to park when you are moving in/out. 1 month move out update: we are charged almost $500 for cleaning fee. Probably get your own cleaning service if you want to avoid this. (We vacuumed everywhere so it's really not dirty.)

Laundry stolen. mail boxes broken into, front door broken into, homeless dude followed me in through the garage, multiple nights saw people camped blocking the front door, guy tried to get in through my window while I was in my room, mold problem (usually just open the window but can't here bc someone might try to climb through it), tent city across the street. Friends in the surrounding area did not have issues with these things. Management was alright - nice but unhelpful with safety concerns. They hired security that they'll be charging everyone for soon, but when I called security they hadn't shown up yet and told me to call the cops. When they sent out a survey on the apartment and later asked why I didn't want to renew, they responded both times with excuses. For example, they put a lock on the laundry room door and said there hadn't been an incident since. I said how that lock was broken into and they said because no one's laundry was stolen it wasn't an incident. Whether it's just that they can't do much or not, I recommend looking elsewhere. Edit in response to their comment: the attempted break in happened late may, the pic of mail boxes was taken late may. Literally what I mean w them saying that since they’ve done xyz nothings happened.

Overall I am happy with staying here. Haven’t experienced any issues. Scott is really nice and replies quickly. Only reason why I’m giving 4 starts and not 5 is there’s only 2 washers and 3 dryers in the building with 4 floors. There also is no elevator but I don’t really mind that. There is a few homeless people near the area but there’s nothing Campus View can really do about that. I appreciate they’ve taken measures to make living here more safe. It has not gone unnoticed. They removed the outside lockers (that would get broken into sometimes) and have new ones inside. Also, they have an app and camera system to allow you in. Given the price it’s a good deal. I know there’s way worse apartments out there.
