The Highline, san-antonio-tx

I’ve been living at The Highline for about two years now, and overall my experience has been very positive. One of the biggest reasons I’ve chosen to stay is the office staff. Destiny and Carmen have consistently been attentive, professional, and genuinely helpful. Anytime I’ve had a concern, they’ve taken it seriously and made sure it was resolved, which makes a huge difference as a resident. The maintenance team is also outstanding. Service requests are usually completed the same day, which is something I really appreciate. I even had an emergency situation once, and maintenance arrived within minutes; that level of responsiveness gave me a lot of peace of mind. The property itself has improved over time and is well maintained. The grounds are kept clean, and I especially enjoy the trees and overall atmosphere;it makes the community feel more welcoming and cared for. There’s also a nice BBQ area that I’ve used and enjoyed. Another thing I value is the communication. The office does a great job of keeping residents informed with text reminders and updates about what’s going on in the community, which helps everything feel organized and transparent. I’ve also never had any pest issues in my apartment, which speaks to the cleanliness and upkeep of the property. Overall, this has been a great place to live, mainly because of the strong service from both the office staff and maintenance team. It’s not just about the property itself, but the people who manage it and they’ve made my experience here a positive one.

I lived at Highline for about 6 months and unfortunately it was the worst apartment experience I’ve had in the UTSA area. The dog park is rarely maintained and is often in pretty bad condition, which is disappointing for a place that advertises itself as pet friendly. I will say the maintenance team and staff were always very nice, friendly, and helpful. They were definitely one of the better parts of living there. What was most surprising is that even though the complex is located right on UTSA Blvd, most of the residents in my area were large families with small children. Because of this, there were constant issues with neighbors complaining about any noise past around 9 pm. Even normal things like watching a movie, talking with friends, or having a slightly louder conversation would lead to passive aggressive behavior like tapping on the ceiling or mass emails being sent out to the community. Parking was also a huge issue. The spaces are extremely small, and people constantly double park or take up handicap spaces!! I moved in with a brand new car with no scratches, and by the time I left I had three door dents from people clearly not caring about hitting other cars when opening their doors. That was really upsetting. It was also a constant struggle to find parking near my building, and many nights I had to park all the way across the complex because there were no spots available nearby. Overall, the environment felt very unwelcoming and I never really felt at home there. If you’re someone who prefers a very quiet environment and mostly keeps to yourself, this might work for you. But if you’re a college student or someone expecting a typical UTSA-area apartment experience with a more social atmosphere, this probably isn’t the place.

We live in the highline about 6 months, and cockroaches are a major problem we have had to endure; we will definitely be moving out once our lease is up. Furthermore, the electrical fixtures here are very unreliable and prone to frequent minor malfunctions. When I request repairs, the maintenance staff promise to come the next day—yet they never show up. Since I moved in, the swimming pool has never been cleaned or had its water changed. As for the gym, the equipment is broken, the restroom is always locked, and they fail to restock the cleaning wipes for wiping down machines once the supply runs out. If you are considering moving in here, please think it over very carefully. Additionally, the drains in both the bathtub and the sink are extremely slow to empty.

I recently moved into The Highline and have had an amazing experience so far! The apartment is spacious, beautifully designed, and the modern finishes really stand out. The staff is incredibly friendly and always willing to help, and maintenance has been quick and professional whenever needed. I also love the community amenities, especially the gym and pet park. Overall, I’m very happy to call The Highline home and look forward to living here for a long time!

I just recently moved in here, and the process went flawlessly with the help of the management. They are such a great help, if you ever have any issues, you can just visit the office or give them a call, and they will offer help in a timely manner. The location is also very nice, as Costco is right next door, and there's a shuttle for UTSA right down the road!
