Before i moved recently. Since 2021 I have been living at this site. It was relatively safe, comfortable, and liveable. But it went through at least 3 different management teams. And the current one peakmade. Doesn't listen nor care about concerns or complaints. They love money more. The parking is non existent, they hate To do deals and business to get you out of contract. The office staff told me because of my current balance they can't find somebody for the room but the account management said otherwise. It's a good temporary housing for students or those who's improving their Financials. Besides that it's dirt

Do not move here! If you value your vehicle and property at all, this is not the place for you. There is not enough parking in the complex so residents have to park on the streets. The street parking is marked no parking 10pm-6am and Sac PD makes it a point to ticket cars every night. Sac PD does nothing to stop the vandalism and breaking in to cars but you will certainly receive a parking ticket. Crossings was contacted and there was nothing they could or would do about it. Sac parking was contacted and they informed me that Crossings petitioned the city for the no parking signs for the roads around the complex due to the homeless committing crimes around the complex. All the signs effectively do is make it so residents (who are mainly students) receive $62.50 parking tickets almost every night while cars continue to be broken into and damaged. It's a nightmare and no one cares. Move somewhere that cares about its residents and provides ample and safe parking because this isn't the place.

DO NOT LIVE HERE. I pay $175 a month for parking and still had my car broken into. Rent is $1,300, yet these issues keep happening with no real solutions. The hallways are a mess, windows are screwed shut, so you can’t even air them out, especially when neighbors leave trash sitting outside for days. The security is basically nonexistent. The outside gate doors don’t work, and I can’t even access them with the key the apartment issued me. Instead, doors are propped open with rocks or wood, meaning literally anyone can walk in. When I first moved in, there were roaches everywhere. I’ve lived here for 3 years and had to clean and make the apartment livable myself. Meanwhile, The Crossings continues to fail in basic areas: security, cleanliness, and maintenance, while prices keep going up. There are no cameras in the parking lots or around the buildings, so when something happens, there’s no accountability and no help. Save yourself the trouble, look somewhere else.

My experience at The Crossings has been deeply disappointing and honestly concerning. From the way complaints are handled to how renewals and transfers are managed, there is a clear pattern of unfairness and inconsistent treatment. Concerns are dismissed, follow-ups are delayed or ignored, and policies seem to shift depending on who is asking. There is no sense of equal treatment or accountability. The most alarming issue has been renewals and transfers. Residents are repeatedly told there is “no availability” due to overbooking. However, units somehow become available under different circumstances. That lack of transparency raises serious concerns about discrimination and selective decision-making. It feels biased. It feels unequal. And it does not feel fair. Housing is not something people can afford uncertainty with. When management applies policies inconsistently and fails to provide clear reasoning for decisions, it creates an environment that feels discriminatory and exclusionary. No resident should feel like they are being treated differently or pushed aside without explanation. The ongoing issues with unavailable transfers and renewals - only for exceptions to seemingly be made - are extremely concerning. At best, this reflects poor management. At worst, it reflects unequal treatment. Prospective residents should ask detailed questions about complaint procedures, renewal guarantees, and transfer policies before signing anything. Transparency, fairness, and equal treatment should be the standard - not the exception. Not to mention you will never get a call back or get patched through past AI. Talk about avoidant

Moving here was the WORST decision of my entire life! Wish I could rate it 0 stars. They have made me feel completely unsafe living here and they do not care about their residents. They have come into my room as I’m sleeping and taken unnecessary pictures of my room for “inspection.” These people were Jessie and Nancy and management had nothing to even say about this. If you have a concern, you will not get help from them and they will instead give you attitude and say bad things about you right in front of your face. The office staff is so unproffesional as well as management. You can also never get out of your lease and they will make you feel trapped, even when you don't feel safe. Parking is terrible and super overpriced, and if you don't pay for it your car will get broken into. In addition, there is also roaches inside apartments and they are not helpful. Overall, do NOT live here. Although, the maintenance staff is super friendly and do always help me when they can.
