Do not live here. They do not care about their residents. They gave away our renewal offer after telling us it was still available which left my roommates and I without somewhere to live. Too many maintenance issues not only in the unit but on the property. There were multiple occasions where we were left with no running water. The stairwells were BEYOND dirty at all times. There were many situations where me and my roommates were disappointed with the property as well as their rude and careless team. The gate was always broken which let random people onto the property. With how much they charge you would think they would fix everything properly. They are also SO nitpicky about the move out inspection. I was on my hands and knees scrubbing that apartment all for them to charge me more than $100 for a "cleaning fee". Only a nice place to live if you're a perfect person because clearly they want the units back as if they were brand new.

I have been late to my job due to the broken front gate, on numerous occasions. The whole rooming situation and or system is unprofessional to say the least. I have been locked and people have barged into our place on unannounced. And when they announce it, you have a 50 percent chance they wont even show up at all. Don't even get me started on the water.(went a week without water. meaning showers too). If you have the choice, do not get locked into a lease here. You wont get what you paid for. Been here for a year, constantly talk to them and show up to different events they have, just for them to treat us like this. If you already have issues in your own personal life, moving here might add issues onto it.

Listen to the recent reviews about how this place is terrible and why you should live literally anywhere else!!! My car was towed within the first month of me living here because the security thought I parked in the wrong spot and they made me pay for it. There were a couple times that we didn’t have running water for a several days, the WiFi always cuts out, the gym doesn’t have AC, the pool is always closed, the gates are always broken, and you you can expect to hear people screaming outside of your building at 3am pretty much every weekend. If you share a wall with someone in another part of your building, prepare to hear EVERYTHING. I mean toilet flushes, snoring, talking, all of it. Honestly, the list goes on and on. The worst part was when I told management that my neighbors had been leaving trash outside of my door — furniture they didn’t want anymore, stuff from bathroom, etc. They told me that I will get fined unless I can prove that I didn’t put the trash there and at this point I had not been living there for weeks. THEY RECOMMENDED THAT I DIG THROUGH THE TRASH TO TRY TO FIND SOMETHING WITH THEIR NAME ON IT TO PROVE ITS NOT MINE!!! How degrading is that??? You’ll also be charged for an entire month of rent the first month, even though the lease starts the last week of the month. You’re also expected to move out a week before the end of the month, but don’t worry. They’ll still charge you for the whole damn month. On top of all of this, I was charged nearly $400 that was auto charged on the card I had on file without notice (no bill or anything sent to me beforehand). Cleaning and damage charges which were not itemized and no clear description. If the damages were my fault, I would own up to and pay it but the caveat is that I moved in early and accepted the apartment “as is.” I was told to document any damages and the state of the apartment to send to them with timestamps as proof upon move out. I did exactly that and did not receive a response, causing me to believe that my email was not seen and that they wrongfully charged me for existing damages caused before move in. I am in the process of trying to get an itemized bill with sufficient evidence but have yet to receive a response, which seems to be a common experience, after reading other reviews. Moral of the story is: DON’T LIVE HERE!!!

If you wanna live here. Don't. I've had multiple people have the same exact issues as myself. UPDATE: they posted the lie below, they don't do as much as they say. We followed up and still no response so this was comment was likely added as a way to seem friendly to new applicants. They will be nice upfront and on media, but as soon as you sign the lease they will drop the facade and throw you into a ditch. I've lived at almost all the nearby apartments and this one is somehow the worst, which is a really hard challenge to beat. The tour room and building is perfectly fabricated to seem clean and amazing, but if you look at anything outside the tour it's covered in grime, dog poop, human bodily fluid. I've witnessed countless times people throwing up, peeing, and more all around the property. They enforce parking whenever they please. If you're parked near the front office (where the employees park), without a permit expect to be towed instantly. If someone parks in your spot? Good luck next time, we just charge you $75 just to say you have a spot, we will send a tow truck that will never appear. The volleyball net is everyone's dog/cats communal litter-box. The pool is always closed. They have ant nests around the property which lead to infestations. The water in the property is disgusting and will leave you feeling like you need a shower right after you shower. We put a filter on our faucets and have to change them almost every other day. And the trash? They provided us a trash can that was stolen 2 days into the valet service they provide. They won't give us a new one, but i'm assuming if i forgot to use the exact trash bag they want they would be quick to fine/ threaten us with being banned with valet service If you ask them to do something about it, they will say they are on it. But they aren't so i contacted the health department/code enforcement and will see if that will push them. They have left me ghosted/left us on read about the topics for a few months now, but i believe that somehow they will reply to this post saying "this isn't the experience we hope you have. contact us at [email protected]"

I moved into lark almost a year ago, and even though i am planning to move out at the end of my lease, this has overall been a wonderful place to live. The apartment comes with a couch, front room tv, and beds with a decent bedframe, as well as under bed storage; the bed itself is a little uncomfortable if you dislike spring mattresses so I recommend a mattress topper. They have a study lounge and game lounge open 24 hours; the study lounge has comfortable chairs and even couches, and the game lounge has a full tennis table and several other games. There are also a lot of nice grass spots and even fields for dogs to relieve themselves, as well as a small dog park, however a part of the fence in the dog park is broken so most large dogs could jump over it. Having roommates to help with cost and having personal leases at the same time is a huge plus. Overall very good.
