Academy 65 has been a good place to live overall. The apartments are modern and the amenities like the gym, study areas, and shared spaces are really convenient. The location is also great and makes getting around Sacramento easy. Like any apartment complex, there can be small issues here and there, but overall the experience has been positive and the community environment is nice.

I’ve been living at Academy 65 since last August and renewed my lease for another year! I’m a student at Sac State, and the location honestly couldn’t be more convenient, it makes getting to campus so easy, especially with a busy student schedule. There were a couple of weird situations with some non-student residents, but management (especially Issiah) was really sweet, understanding, and made sure we felt heard. There were also a few days when the hot water wasn’t working properly, but things like that can happen in any apartment building, and they worked quickly to fix it. Overall, I’ve had a great experience here. The building offers so many nice resources and fun activities, from study areas and the patio to game nights, movie nights, and holiday events. As an international student who doesn’t go home for the holidays, I really appreciate that they make the community feel warm and welcoming.

We booked a tour with Heather and it was fantastic! She was very informative all throughout and never minded answering any of our questions at all. She was a breath of fresh air and made the whole tour very enjoyable.

if I could leave 0 stars I would. I have loved living here for the time that I have lived here. Leasing staff is great they are all so sweet, maintenance is always on point, but one thing that I can say is that management is literally the worst. I have brought issues to both managers and neither one have seemed to care. The general manager Isaiah is always gone and very hard to reach and the assistant manager Heather is literally the worst person to ever have to deal with when it comes to anything. She has told me wrong information multiple times and when I have corrected her she gets defensive immediately. She literally denied my friend’s service dog, when in California that is ILLEGAL. She literally talks like she is better than everyone and knows everything in the world but has shown multiple times that she doesn’t. The leasing staff knows more than her. I WILL NOT be renewing this year and if you decide to move here beware of Heather, I’m sure the company that hired her seen the other bad reviews about her so I’m sure she’ll still be working there.

I moved in last August and I absolutely love it here. Management is very kind and friendly. There's always little events for the residents to go to. The building is also in a spot where it's very easy to get to everything. I would say my only complaint is just about getting in and out of the bike locker.
