Lived there for a year, building 310, other than limited parking (due to people parking illegally without permits) we had no other issues! Rent plus $10 gas and about $35 utilities a month, totaling ~$400/mo and you have your own bathroom! I would definitely recommend it!

If I could give less stars, I would. This place has no integrity and uses every loophole they can to take advantage of inexperienced college kids. Most places in Ruston do, but this place is one of tge worst. My daughter rented from them in 2022 and they didn't even clean the place before the kids moved in, there were pizza rolls (out of the package) in the freezer and the carpets and laundry rooms were a mess, even for college apartments. Multiple call ins for maint were not answered. When my daughter moved out, she didn't get her security deposit back, because she called a day late. Fast forward to 2024/2025, my son moved in there with some friends. This time they took over a lease from some other boys... same old BS. I went down to fix a shower and faucets because it was difficult to get a maintenance person out there. My Son signed a lease until the end of May. Documented and signed... now the apartment messages him to tell him he is legally responsible to pay rent if another child does not move in. That is not how leases work. But it's easy to try to convince college kids with little life experience. Shady apartment that is conveniently close to the school and will gladly accept your money... as long as you don't need anything from them. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE! I feel bad for his other roommates still in there.

It was a horrible experience. My daughter turned in her key on 10/31 and was told she would get her $368.75 deposit back in the mail. We gave it a few months, thinking it would take time. We called four times in January and were told it usually only takes 30 to 45 business days. Management said it was a new bank systems issue, and the owner had to wait on the bank because 30 checks had been sent back. According to management, the bank made a mistake. In the course of this, we've learned from other college students who had rented from them that they NEVER got their deposits back. The lady named Linda finally called me on January 23rd and said the owner wanted to verify our new mailing address because he was putting the check in the mail. Well, we are now February 27th, and STILL NO CHECK!! Should it take 118 days to get your deposit back? Do not rent from them. They should not call it a deposit if they never intend to return it to you. They are taking advantage of college students. $368 may not seem like much, but if you are a broke college student, it makes a huge difference. We are filing a report with the Better Business Bureau.

Decent for being close to campus. Get there early the day they open new leases or you may not make the list. Very competitive since it’s “off campus” but especially close to the college of business and the new engineering building. I hope you like trains rattling your bed in the dead of night as they come through at all hours! Some people get used to them but I could never.

Lived here for half a year now, rent is relatively cheap compared to every where else in the area as long as it's split four ways, and it's extremely close to campus. Unfortunately those are about the only two things good about it, here's the issues: 1) The Internet has been down or barely functioning the entire time I've lived here. That is not an exaggeration, the Internet has been terrible literally every day. 2) Getting things fixed is almost impossible. Repeated calls to the office about maintenance issues, including the aforementioned Internet problems have failed to produce any results. 3) Terrible management. Part of the issue as to why it's so hard to get the Internet fixed is that in order to get someone out there to repair it you have to call the realtor, who then has to call the owner, who then has to call the Internet company. This system leads to a long wait with a whole lot of nothing at the end. 4) The Internet, when (barely) functioning, is also unsecure. What does this mean for you? It means that if you use the Internet provided by Steeples Glen any passerby in the street could connect to your WiFi and steal your passwords and bank information. 5)The Inside of the apartments are disgusting. The rooms on the inside have frayed and stained carpet and the walls are full of holes. Being inside this apartment for an extended period of time leaves you wanting to take a shower. Preferably not in the apartment shower, since it's just as disgusting as the rest of the apartment. 6) There is train tracks right next to the apartments. The trains seem to pass by constantly and depending on which apartment you're in not only cause the entire building to shake but also are unbearably loud. Overall, would I recommend? If you're a heavy-sleeper who doesn't mind living in a disgusting apartment and are willing to pay for your own Internet connection separate from the one provided, then sure, otherwise steer clear of this mess.
