Lofts at Gold Street, rochester-ny

I had a very positive experience with Lofts at Gold Street, especially working with Lee Ann during my relet and move-out process. The relet process went smoothly, and Lee Ann was very responsive, professional, and helpful throughout. She communicated clearly, handled the lease transition efficiently, and made sure everything was processed correctly, including the prorated rent refund and security deposit. I really appreciated her transparency and patience in answering my questions.

Very smooth onboarding experience by the manager, Lee Ann. The complex is extremely well maintained and great apartment with wonderful views from the windows.

I had a great experience living at the Lofts. The apartment was safe, clean, and well-maintained, but what truly set it apart was the outstanding support from management. Petra was always quick to respond to maintenance requests and proactive in resolving any issues. Her kindness and genuine care for her tenants made a lasting impression and will be remembered.

I DO NOT RECOMMEND ANYONE TO RENT HERE. After moving out, I was charged almost $500 in so-called “smoking fines,” even though I have never smoked in my entire life. They provided no evidence and no reasonable explanation — just unfairly took money out of my deposit. This is complete nonsense and shows how irresponsible the management is. Save yourself the trouble and avoid renting here, or you may never see your full deposit back. BTW, the reason I previously left a 5-star review was only because management staff came to my door asking me to do so. I gave it out of kindness, but now it’s clear they never deserved those 5 stars. UPDATE 12/15/2025: Guess what, 5 months after move out I still haven't receive my deposit check.

Absolutely terrible experience with this apartment. First of all, it is extremely difficult to get in touch with them. Emails, texts, and phone calls are all ignored — no one ever replies. During my stay, I reported several maintenance issues, and only one of them was ever resolved. My lease ended in April, but I still haven’t received my deposit. They unauthorizedly deducted a cleaning fee from my account, even though I cleaned my room before moving out. Overall, living here was an extremely frustrating and disappointing experience. The apartment management only cares about collecting rent and completely ignores the needs and rights of their tenants. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Now they Recommend me to use official accounts. I emailed their official email in June, and guess what, since now I still got no response. Stopping find excuse for the bad management!!!
