8 1/2 Canal Street, richmond-va

I took a tour of 8 1/2 canal today and loved it. Moriah was my tour guide and she was very sweet and answered my questions. Also one of the managers up front was very patient with me. I had a lot of questions and so did my mom but he was super helpful and made sure we felt comfortable. They took good care of the building and had some great amenities. I toured a couple of places and looked at a lot of listings and there is so many places especially in the city that are expensive and yet they are roach infested or outdated but this place was the opposite. I’m glad that I applied and happy about moving in soon.

My daughter and I recently toured 8 1/2 Canal Street and had a wonderful experience from start to finish. Our tour guide, Alijah, was outstanding — knowledgeable, personable, and genuinely took the time to show us around thoroughly and answer every question we had. My daughter will be submitting her application ahead of starting at the university this fall. If the rest of the staff is anything like Alijah, this is a great place to call home!

I had an amazing experience touring this apartment! The space was clean, modern, and well laid out, and the amenities were exactly what I was looking for. Everything was explained clearly during the tour, and all of my questions were answered thoroughly. I really appreciated how welcoming and informative the staff was it made the whole process feel comfortable and exciting rather than stressful. This is definitely a place I can see myself living in next year, and I’m looking forward to moving forward with the application!

I toured 8.5 Canal and had a really good experience. The apartments looked really nice and it seems like a great place for students to live. Juliette and Nyjae were both really welcoming and friendly during the tour and made me feel comfortable asking questions. Overall, they made the experience really positive.

I would like to especially recognize Ansh for his outstanding support throughout my lease process and for his consistent communication regarding maintenance requests. He has been exceptionally professional, responsive, and courteous, ensuring that everything was handled smoothly. Ansh truly stands out as a dedicated and reliable member of the team — a key reason my experience here has been so positive. Highly recommend!
