They are so un-accommodating and rude. Was told I was gonna be living with the roommates I signed with but was then placed with randoms. Keep in mind we had changed our entire layout in December so that we would be placed together and we were told that we would. When this placement happened we assumed it was a mistake but the management is doing nothing about it and are completely hanging up the phone on us. Overall rude people and horrible management so if you are college students looking for a good place to live with your friends DO NOT LIVE HERE.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. Living at 1200 West Marshall was one of the biggest mistakes I’ve ever made. This place is gross, overpriced, and completely mismanaged. The hallways constantly smelled awful, and the “secure” parking garage was a lie. The garage door was broken most of the time, so homeless people were inside all the time. I even saw a man peeing in the garage. Yet they still expect residents to pay ridiculous amounts for parking that isn’t even remotely secure. Before I added a parking space to my lease, I specifically told the front desk employee that I might need to remove it because I’m a college student paying for it myself. She assured me it would be no problem. The second I actually needed to remove it because I no longer felt safe parking there and it clearly wasn’t worth the money, management suddenly changed their story and refused. I spent weeks emailing multiple people, getting passed around with no real solution. They’ll tell you whatever you want to hear until you’ve signed the lease. The apartment itself wasn’t any better. Every single time you tried to cook, the smoke alarms would go off over practically nothing. The washer was moldy and smelled disgusting. The utility bills were outrageously expensive. Things constantly broke, and maintenance either did the bare minimum or didn’t actually fix the problem. To make things even worse, there was mold coming out of the air vents, and it was making me feel sick. No one should have to worry about breathing mold in an apartment they’re paying thousands of dollars to live in. For the amount they charge, this place is an absolute rip-off. You’re paying luxury prices for unsafe parking, poor maintenance, disgusting conditions, and management that couldn’t care less once they’ve got your money. Save yourself the stress, the money, and the disappointment. There are so many better places to live. DO NOT LIVE HERE!!!! PLEASE FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE!!!!!

Took a tour for my future ram. Alijah was our tour guide of the apartments. He was informative and answered all my questions. Super friendly. The apt building is spacious and offers several area for residents to hangout and entertain themselves. The apt itself is cute and cozy love that all have their own bathroom in your room. My son is excited to move in this fall!

There’s been an issue every month since I’ve moved in. Starting with my roommate living in the room I signed my lease for. You might think when you read that, “that’s not the building’s fault, it’s your roommate’s fault”, but it is the building’s fault when I called every day for a week before move in to ensure my roommate was not living in my room and to ensure my room would be clean upon move in, which is what my lease states. When I moved in, he was getting all of his things out and the room was filthy and disgusting to even smell. Also, for the inconvenience, the building manager mentioned I would be receiving some compensation for the problem but there quite frankly was NO compensation whatsoever. I should not have to remind you to right a wrong that you caused. Anyways, my packages repeatedly get stolen due to the lack of security at the front desk. The garage doors have been broken and as far as their intention on fixing them goes, they only mentioned in an email that the door will remain open, “until the door can be replaced.” No urgency whatsoever, and we pay $100 a month for parking. (not to mention the parking spaces are small and you practically have to touch the other car in order to exit your vehicle) And to top it all off, the wifi has not been working for 2 whole days for me OR my roommate. And last night the random fire alarm at 2am? No update as to why it went off (it went off twice last night, at 2am, then at 4am). If i could get out of this lease I really would. I do not recommend living here if you want a peace of mind.

I have reason to believe somebody from their management team or front desk team stole my friends popcorn. Management was VERY dismissive when she addressed this issue thinking they know everything instead of trying to investigate the situation and help her out. Her boyfriend ordered her some popcorn under her unit number and letter but since it wasn’t her name on the package they didn’t notify her the package got delivered. A couple of days later she asked the front office if they had a package under her boyfriends name which they said they did in the mail room and she let them know she would get the package in two days. Two days passes by, she gets the popcorn and the box feels light. She opens it and there’s another package of a 1200 resident in her “sealed” box and there’s no sign of popcorn. The box had been tapered with and closed back up with office tape. The package was obviously tapered with and why we have reason to believe so is because 1. Instead of popcorn, another residents Amazon package was in her box most likely to make it have some “weight” so she’d have reason to believe her popcorn was in the box — 2. The package was delivered and was held in the mail room which means no resident should have had access to taper with the package UNLESS they leave the mail room unlocked for residents to freely access which they DON’T DO — 3. It was sealed up with OFFICE TAPE — 4. Once again , it couldn’t have been the delivery driver because an Amazon package from a different 1200 west Marshall resident was in her box when she opened it. Management needs to do better !!! It’s the principle of it and I would’ve expected them to do whatever is in their power to handle the situation and investigate rather than telling her they don’t think it happened within their building and that she would have to contact the shipping company. Edit: The Caucasian woman who is responsible for the building said “We definitely did not open that box” and my friend responded and said “Definitely?” in which management responded and said “Yeah on my fathers grave.” Adrian who is an African American man who I believe is also responsible for the building had a NASTY attitude and was very dismissive. He wasn’t who my friend spoke to initially but instead he tried to go based on what he had heard. He told her that she needs to contact the shipping company and continuously spoke over her and didn’t allow her to explain what had happened. He also failed to provide her the email for his higher up management team after she had asked.
