There are no great qualities about this place, elevators don’t work, they stop working every day of the month, communication is a joke, takes months for maintenance to even fix anything. Tried switching units only for them to charge me double to stay in the same place, you bet once my lease is over I will try looking for another place, this place is not worth your money nor your sanity. If I could give this place zero stars I would, unfortunately it’s not possible. Stuck with nasty roommates who don’t pick up after themselves, canyon flats do and be better , people shouldn’t be paying this much for a mediocre property and amenities that barely even function. “Well get back to you ,” is the favorite filler word to use, aka we won’t be getting back to you ever. Please save your money elsewhere if you’re going to be living near or close to a college

Canyon Flats has some great qualities, but there’s one issue that is incredibly frustrating: the way they handle mail. Packages and letters can sit there for weeks after being delivered, and instead of placing them in residents’ mailboxes promptly, I often have to go to the front desk and ask whether my mail has arrived. This isn’t an isolated incident either, it has happened far too many times. It’s frustrating because the whole point of having mailboxes is to receive mail without having to track it down yourself. Timely mail distribution seems like a basic expectation for an apartment complex, and it’s disappointing that it’s handled so inconsistently.

I have had the best customer experience with Arla, the leasing agent at Canyon Flats. She is always so helpful and she offered the warmth and support I needed when I was going through the worst in Canyon Flats. The corporate office largely ignored me, but I didn’t lose what was left of my sanity because Arla would empathize with me and do what she could do to offer solutions to my stressful situation. I was constantly harassed by a violent roommate and her gf. This situation was well documented and reported to the management who chose to ignore not just me, but my other roommates. If not for Arla’s professionalism and empathy, I would have abandoned the property after New Year’s Day. Arla is competent in her job and knows how to create a diverse and welcoming atmosphere for the community.

I would highly recommend this company. Their communication is excellent—they keep you informed and are always responsive. The staff is awesome—friendly, professional, and genuinely cares about their clients. The amenities are a great bonus and really add to the overall experience. I also want to specifically mention Nick Moon—he does a phenomenal job. You can tell he takes pride in his work and goes above and beyond to make sure everything is done right.

The staff, Dylan and Kristen, are incredibly friendly and responsive — they really go above and beyond to make sure residents feel supported. Her apartment is modern, spacious, and well-designed, with a shared kitchen that’s always clean and convenient. The amenities are top-notch.
