I lived here for 16 months and loved my experience. My fav part was the island in the kitchen (so much better than your normal counters and a small table, because you get added cooking space and storage space). The bathroom vanity was also very nice, big mirror and 2 sinks. The bedrooms are a little small, but they'll give you room for what you need. Each tenant has their own desk, even though the rooms are small, and the storage space under the bed is great. Maintenance requests are fulfilled within a few days. My only problem with the management is that I filed a maintenance request about the pine tree on the property whose branches people have to duck under to walk past the apartment, and the rusted/peeling paint on the property stairs. I filed maintenance requests for these issues, and they marked them as completed without fixing anything.

I lived here for 2 years, great ward and not far from campus. The kitchen is nice. Only 2 washing machines and dryers for the whole complex… If both are working. Mold was growing on the wall in my bedroom and this was their response “Yes, the maintenance crew would like you to monitor and clean the area with a bleach product (they recommend Tilex). Bleach will kill mold or mildew, so it would solve both scenarios. We also recommend scrubbing the walls because the bleach solution alone will not remove the stains from the mold.” I found it hard to communicate with the management here.

Nice apartments, rough ownership. I liked the location, and the granite counter tops are nice - definitely the nicest place I've lived since going to BYU. The 2 washer thing is a royal pain, but I'm moving out because management keeps tacking on nitpicky rules. In the contract they specify no pumpkins, no wreaths, and next year, they're banning house plants. Ask them about it and they'll give you some recited spiel about how everyone has to be equal. They actually just don't want to have to touch stuff up, which is fair, but the result is that you feel like a bunch of chickens packed in an egg production facility. Then there's the people themselves. The apt. manager is personable while still upholding the rules. I have a lot of respect for him. It seems like he cares about the tenants. The owners though... yeah, you're just the goose that gives them their golden egg. Then there's this one guy who pulled up in his Cadillac to take a wreath hook off the door (without knocking). He wouldn't tell me who he was, but he was curt at best. They do cleaning re-checks if needed except for at the end of the contract period. It doesn't seem to me like they're trying to burn you, though the cleaning lists can be a bit overwhelming. Parking patrol is outsourced, and they are diligent.

Awful Management. The apartment may be nice, but the cleaning checks are outrageous. They require you to clean every nook and cranny and will charge you at least $75 for any excuse they can find. If any of your roommates don't keep up their cleaning assignment for the cleaning check everyone get's billed $75. And they require you to prove that you cleaned everything using their specified products. I wouldn't be surprised if they earn commission on the purchase of these products. On top of that there are only two washers and dryers that are way overpriced. Do not live here if you can avoid it. The bedrooms are tiny and you will feel like you are in your roommate's space all the time. And the WIFI doesn't reach the bedroom half of the time.

I have lived at crown apartments for about 4 months so far and it is a major upgrade from the place I used to live. The interiors of the apartments are really nice, especially the kitchens and living rooms. Individual rooms are very small but there is *just* enough space. I haven’t had any issues with management or anything like that! The basement floors have little/no view and people sit in the parking lot shining their headlights into your windows, but that’s not really a big deal. Overall a positive experience!
