Paid for the application fee and the management asked to sign the lease right the way (if you don’t pay $300 to reserve your spot within 48 hrs you will lose it) without allowing me to view the apartment. When I reached out to confirm about the viewing, they responded with “Does Friday work for you?” And then I replied “yes, please let me know what time you will be available for the viewing” Never heard back from them again. However, emails of requesting me to open their online portal to pay rent kept being sent… $25 wasted for the application fee.

*Lack of transparency and efficient communication with tenants in terms of pricing. *No parking. They will try to charge you for parking even though you were never assigned a spot. *Extremely dirty unit upon arrival. Cat urine/animal dander/roaches/grease/hidden food crumbs/holes/nails on the walls/heavily damaged cabinets. *Existing appliances are old and few, including a basic white fridge and dishwasher. *Existing mold that we are left to clean otherwise it is heavily sprayed down with bleach by maintenance only for it to return again. It will make you sick. *Heavy food smell from the restaurant next door and loud trash trucks during early morning hours. *Water is either scolding hot or extremely cold the the hot water runs out easily. *There are a plethora of basic inconveniences that you will face and have to communicate on a constant basis.

"Refreshed" units done so poorly they fell apart instantly. Rat infestation to the point of rat traps placed all around the property. Neighbor left due to black mold and had to sue. Roaches and active drug use common in visitor parking area. This park of the neighborhood commonly loses power in inclement weather. Fine people in the complex, never had an issue the 4 years I rented with any neighbor but no active response if something occurs. Handyman smoked in unit when fixing the dishwasher. Access code to gate never changes with many people who don't live there having access. Non residents will break in, or use the code they shouldn't have, to use the pool (which is fine everyone deserves a way to get out of the heat, but they leave glass and cigarettes behind. A unit that started on fire and took out the complete unit and the one below has never been repaired or addressed, after a year...still a black hole in the side of the building just covered by flimsy plywood. Property manager turn over every few months, with each replacement getting worse and worse. Office staff now not only unresponsive but aggressive and threatening. Overall never had a worse experience renting. Do not move here if youre able to afford literally anyplace else in the city.

The apartment is so poorly and cheaply built that in spite of my best efforts, like running the fan constantly and getting DampRid, mold thrives. Not just in the bathroom but anywhere close to a window, or an exterior wall, which during the wet months are covered with condensation. The lack of windows makes it way too dark inside, although the three windows we actually do have are covered in fog and moisture.

Don't trust Connery place. My family has been put in a dangerous situation for almost a year now and the complex has done absolutely nothing. There is a mold infestation that is never addressed. Management doesn't care about their tenants whatsoever.
