With the affordable rent, convenient location, and amenities like the pool and community spaces, Bengal Creek can be a great option for students who are just starting college. The price is comparable to living on campus but offers more privacy than traditional dorm housing. It can be a solid choice for early college students looking for a social environment while staying close to Idaho State University. That being said, there are some frustrations that can become more noticeable as academic stress increases. Management can sometimes feel overwhelming or inconsistent, and there can be gaps in communication and expectations that create unnecessary stress. Student privacy can also feel limited at times, particularly regarding inspections or management entry into units. Another challenge is the roommate system, which often feels random and not always well thought out. This can significantly impact a student’s living experience. When serious roommate conflicts arise, it can sometimes feel like management offers limited or ineffective support, which can make resolving issues more difficult for students. For students just starting college and looking for affordable housing with built-in amenities and social opportunities, Bengal Creek can be a good fit. However, I would strongly recommend moving in with roommates you already know and communicate well with. For students further along in their academic careers, there may be better housing options available that offer more privacy, consistency, and respect for students’ time.

I have lived here a year, and this apartment complex is extremely accommodating when needing to make a room transfer! They are quick to find you a room based on your preferences and needs! Exceptional customer service!

I'd give a zero start review if it was possible. Bengal Creek Apartments is extremely poorly managed and misleading. The roommate matching process is essentially useless — detailed pairing information was provided, yet the result was being placed with roommates who were the complete opposite in lifestyle, cleanliness, and schedules. This led to constant issues and unnecessary stress. Management adds ongoing fees that were never clearly explained or justified. We were required to pay their renters insurance despite providing proof of valid coverage beforehand, even after being told that would exempt us. “White glove inspections” are another money grab — failures are charged with no documentation or proof of what was supposedly wrong, and tenants are held financially responsible for roommates’ messes they did not create. There is no real appeal process, no accountability, and no willingness to listen to reason. The property is run more like a fee-collection operation than a residential community. I would not recommend Bengal Creek to anyone. I was willing to pay a full semester just to get out, and I’ve already discouraged multiple people from applying here. I will continue to discourage any and all that as me about this place. Know what you’re signing up for.

Lived here for one semester and let me tell you do not live here. Stay away if you can!!!! I sold my lease and they are still adding rent charges to my account now they are with holding mail form me because I won’t pay them!! I haven’t lived there since April. This is a serious issue which can be taken into legal matters. They will lie to you and try to suck money out of you avoid this place at all cost please if you don’t want to be stressed all the time!!!!

Very affordable rent and with the bus route, makes the parking nightmare at ISU easy. Made some of my best friends here. Will probably stay until I find a wife or age out.
