I had REALLY high hopes for this place!! Me and my friend signed our leases early enough to where we wouldn’t have to worry about not getting put together. Our room assignments were changed 2 days before we were supposed to move in. WE had to work really hard with Tessa and whatever the other guy’s name is up front to get our assignment back. We were put with 2 other girls who genuinely were a hazard to our health. I’m talking mold everywhere, maggots, broken glass, laundry piled up for almost a month, & cat litter scattered and the place smelled like poop half the time. We had photo/video evidence & it was all presented twice to management. Violations were given out, but we didn’t want to leave those girls without a place to stay so we asked to break our lease for the SUMMER. TWO MONTHS. Tessa was very understanding it seemed and was like “I’ll do everything I can”. What did we hear back that summer? Crickets. I’m not upset about that because it’s just business, but the audacity to be so empathetic about our experience and then do nothing about it was honestly the worst part. She knew those girls were gross because of their former roommates complaints. Management does not care about their tenants experience, they just want your money! There’s plenty of duplexes and other apartments in Pittsburg to choose from. Go elsewhere!!

Fine place to live if you like hearing everything your neighbors are doing and you don’t need to get ahold of the office manager! Also great for spending EXTRA money that wasn’t discussed in the leasing agreement. They won’t let you break your lease either for grad students and seniors FYI. Would rather have lived somewhere else since I was spending almost $600 a month to live with three other people anyway. The only good thing about this place is the maintenance man, he busts his butt to keep the place in shape! He deserves a raise.

Student Warning: AVOID! If you're a college student, do not apply here. The costs are misleading, and the essential utilities are unusable. Hidden Lease Costs: The advertised rent is less than what you actually pay. Useless Electricity Stipend: Even if you are very energy conscious, most tenants still end up paying additional fees above the stipend. Internet: The Wi-Fi doesn't work. If you play any video games, I hope you enjoy high latency, disconnected signs, and a roller coaster of rubberbanding. Between 5 PM and midnight, loading anything more than a text document is a struggle. Hope your phone plan includes a hotspot because you'll need it for schoolwork.

This is a great place to live—well-maintained, convenient, and a good environment for students. What has made my experience even better is the property manager, Tessa. Navigating student housing can be really stressful, but she made everything so much easier and has been incredibly helpful every step of the way. She goes above and beyond to help students, and it really shows!
