Great place, great price, great location. It's in a quiet part of West Philly near the 46th station and the bus line, making transportation super easy. The staff is super kind and helpful. Maintenance requests are attended to very quickly. I had to rent furniture and the price of the rental furniture and the rent was very affordable! The walls are a bit thin, so you can here your neighbors talk sometimes. However, everything is really great that the noise isn't much of an issue. They do a great job pairing roommates as well!! I also love the activities they host for the residents every once in a while. I would live here again if I didn't have to move :)

Hi, As an international student, I can confidently say that living at Eleanor has been a great experience. I arrived in the U.S. two years ago without a place to stay and happened to come across Eleanor. I have lived here for the past 2 years without any major issues. The staff, especially Alana and Xiamari, have been incredibly helpful throughout my stay. They are always prompt, thoughtful, and accommodating. If you're an international student coming to study at UPenn, Drexel, or Temple University and don't have the time to visit apartments before arriving, I can honestly say that this is a place you can trust. I signed my lease without seeing the property in person, and it worked out wonderfully. Here are my pros and cons: Pros: 1. Excellent maintenance: Whenever I submitted a maintenance request, the team responded very quickly. On multiple occasions, they came the very same day to fix the issue. 2. Amazing office staff: As I mentioned, Alana and Xiamari have always been approachable, helpful, and willing to listen. They genuinely care and take action whenever needed. 3. Great location: The building is on a main road, with a bus stop right outside. The mailbox is conveniently located inside the building, and I've always received my mail on time. 4. Safe environment: The building has security cameras in the hallways, which adds an extra sense of safety. 5. Responsive to issues: I experienced a bathroom plaster issue during my stay, but the maintenance team addressed it promptly and professionally. Cons: 1. Thin walls: The walls are quite thin, so if you and your roommate have different schedules, noise can sometimes be an issue. 2. Gym could be improved: The gym equipment is fairly basic. That said, there is enough equipment to get a full-body workout if you use it well. The thin walls and the bathroom plaster issue seem more like building design flaws than management issues. What stood out was how quickly and professionally the management and maintenance teams handled every concern. They have always been supportive and made my experience much easier. If I were staying in Philadelphia, I would absolutely have renewed my lease. Unfortunately, I'm moving to another city, so I won't be able to. I also want to mention that I'm writing this review entirely based on my own experience. No one encouraged me to write it; I simply wanted to share my experience because I hope it helps other students who are looking for housing. I highly recommend Eleanor, and I want to sincerely thank Alana and Xiamari for all their support over the past two years. Adios!

I had a wonderful experience living at Eleanor especially after Xia joined. All my maintenance needs were addressed promptly and the leasing office replied to my emails within 48 hours.

This apartment is amazing! For the price you get everything you need. Xiamari, has been so helpful with my questions and is always available. There isn’t an elevator but hey that just means every day is leg day. Thank you Xiamari and Alana for everything.

I’ve had a great experience living at HH Eleanor at Walnut! Building is amazing, well-maintained, and in a fantastic location (close to Supremo/IFS/Penn Buildings). All the amenities are amazing and I haven’t faced any problem at all (Maintenance is really quick too). The management team is amazing, always available in our leasing office (same address) - especially ricky, who is always so kind, helpful, and responsive. He makes sure residents feel comfortable and happy. I’ve already extended my lease and I highly recommend this place!
