The worst place I have ever lived. My kids labeled it a “roach motel”! The management team is incredibly unprofessional and clueless. When you point out a problem in the app, instead of fixing it, they argue with you to make a point. I wouldn’t recommend renting at 4415 spruce street under any circumstances, unless you want roaches and mice as roommates. They don’t care about the tenants; they only care about collecting their money. The apartment was filthy, the floors squeaked (which I was aware of), the kitchen looked patched up as if a bomb had gone off in there, and the bathroom—where they attempted to stain the bathtub twice but failed—was also neglected; they don’t even hire the right people for the job. The plumbing issues were relentless, to the point where I had to withhold rent until they fixed it. The laundry room, which they charge $20 a month for, malfunctions every other week and is moldy and dirty, with puddles of water on the floor. All they care about is not losing money during the transition between tenants. They make tenants leave seven days early so they can do "bandage" repairs and have the next tenant move in on the 1st. The whole building needs to be emptied out and renovated.

I can't wait to move out. The walls inside the apartment are broken and cracked, the kids damage the common areas and make a lot of noise at all hours. All the doors inside the apartment are old and unusable. The maintenance staff do everything they can to avoid replacing anything that's broken. It's really not worth the price. Besides, the neighborhood is bad; there's little police presence, a car is stolen almost every day, and there are no security cameras.

Been without heat for almost 11 days in the below freezing temperatures. I have a space heater that doesn’t warm up the large room. Their temporary solution was to give me another tiny space heater. Issue is I can’t have 2 appliances running at the same time or the circuit breaker goes off. I have to turn on the stove and oven to heat up the space.

At first moving in was super great. The location is 4740 Pine St. There were a couple of issues. Those were a missing door handle, a light bulb out in the bathroom, the sink and bathtub being clogged, the electrically outlets not working, and other small various issues. The apartment was clean when we first moved in, which was great. All of those issues above were handled quickly by the maintenance team. The rent is very reasonable and some utilizes were included. It was about a month or so ago when issues started arising. The boiler in the basement started making a very loud banging noise that resonated through the pipes up to the radiators located in our apartment. At first this was not an issue as I thought people were working on the pipes for the upcoming cold months. For more than a week straight this banging did not stop throughout the night. I reached out to the office and maintenance team probably about 10 times and paid the office a visit. I showed them a video that I took showing the noise and one of the associates there said they would forward this too the maintenance crew. Well here we are about a month later and I have been completely ignored this whole time and no one has attempted to fix this issue. If this issue progresses, it can damage the pipes and cause them to burst. As well as the possible forced eviction due to maintenance issues, the banging still occurs throughout all hours of the night and day. I would recommend to stay away from here due to the lack of communication, poor management, and lack there of customer service dealing with this retailing company.
