The apartment is really nice! The maintenance team is always so kind, even when I am just seeing them around the property. Allison, on the office staff, has helped me out numerous times with mail/packages, printing in the office, or just asking questions, and they are always great.

FIND A ANOTHER PLACE. Staff is not trained to properly help you, they need managers for almost everything. There have been numerous times the staff has told me incorrect financial information to which the managers tell me they were wrong. This is someone’s money, you can’t be giving out bad advice. That being said this place is severely overpriced for what you get. Managers are only in the office during classes, most leave by 4 if not earlier so good luck trying to get help! If you ever expect to need manager help don’t live here. Incorrect billing, unit transfers, lease changes, etc are all things that the staff will give you wrong information and you’ll eat the consequences. The pool they use as a selling point was out of use or under construction during the year. Water frequently goes out for repairs. You’ll also have to deal with the water leaving bleach stains on your clothes at random. I don’t use bleach products and in multiple washers at this awful complex I’ve had new clothes ruined. The BEST part about this place is the maintenance team who are quick and reliable. DO NOT LIVE HERE.

So far, my time at The Commons has been great. I stopped in for a tour with my family over the summer & the young man in the front office -(Braden I think) was knowledgeable and helpful in answering any questions we had. The folks in the leasing office are always friendly & helpful. The one area for concern originally upon move in, was the delay in maintenance but this has greatly improved recently. The property is well maintained and I’ve yet to have any issues with noise or other residents. As a grad student, I highly recommend the commons for good & affordable housing.

Current resident here and overall wonderful experience! Love all the different amenities such as the gym and 24/7 printing. Wonderful staff also especially Carter who has helped me with any questions or concerns I had. 10/10

I’m a former resident of Commons, and I want to warn others about my experience. When I moved in, I was promised a clean apartment based on the images shown on their website. Instead, I walked into a nasty, dirty unit. They promised to call a cleaning but it never happened. I had to clean everything myself just to make it livable (I attached the photo and video proofs from my move in day. You can see moldy bathtub, shower curtains and carpet). Their manager was extremely rude and told me, “This is what it is, you can’t do anything now—you signed the lease.” Now that I’ve moved out, they’ve charged me an $80 “heavy-duty cleaning” fee—double what my other roommates were charged ($40), even though the apartment was left in clean condition. They repeatedly ignored my calls, but when I called from a different number, they answered right away. I don't even know If I will get my full security deposit back. This place is a scam. Be cautious when choosing to live here.
