The Retreat West, orlando-fl

We have had such a wonderful experience with The Retreat, and so much of that is thanks to Morgan, the Leasing Manager!. From the very beginning, she has been incredibly kind, patient, and helpful, always going above and beyond to make sure my son and our family felt comfortable and supported! Morgan has taken countless calls, promptly responded to emails, and consistently reassured us whenever we had questions or concerns. She made our sons freshman-year move-in process seamless, and her support continued as he prepared for his sophomore year.! As a parent, there is nothing more comforting than knowing your child is living in a community where the staff genuinely care. Morgan’s dedication, professionalism, and kindness have made all the difference, and we are truly grateful for everything she has done!! I cannot recommend The Retreat highly enough, and I can’t thank Morgan & her staff enough for helping make our sons college housing experience such a positive one!

Loved living here! Houses are super spacious and had a nice walk in closet. Maintenance is terrific and helped any time we had any issues and office staff is super helpful. Events are fun especially the free food ones.

Already renewed my lease for next year. I have really enjoyed living here so far. The events that they do are great, giving anyone free food. The clubhouse area is very nice with a resort style pool. Lastly my apartment and individual room is very spacious.

Gisella was awesome! She was super friendly, helpful, and made everything really easy. She answered all my questions and made the whole process stress-free. Definitely recommend working with her if you're checking out The Retreat West!

Where to start. If I could give this place a negative 10 I would. I want to say I like that the units are furnished. But that’s literally the ONLY thing I liked about the retreat west. The place looks nice on the outside and they make it look neat but in reality the place is CHEAP and it seems like everything is falling apart. Also, Roomsync doesn't work, it's a hit or miss. It really depends who you room with. HOWEVER, my personal experience was my roommate was a pig and didn't clean up after herself and extremely inconsiderate of others. She had a friend over in OUR living room smoking weed. I’ve reported issues with staff but nothing was addressed, only ignored. It's always loud, there's no noise control or curfew. There’s people smoking weed ILLEGALLY. Loud cars and no restrictions whatsoever. Gates barely work. My window was broken from god knows what, which made me feel unsafe in my own place and community . The maintenance people did absolutely nothing about it even though I submitted the request to fix it and report it to staff. There's roach infestation and nothing is done about it. The pool rules are ridiculous. It's unnecessary to have bracelets to use the pool. The guest parking is limited. My car got TOWED even though I was a paying resident. If you’re a student I'd honestly recommend you live on UCF campus. I was also charged for non existent damages??? They didn’t communicate anything to me or emailed me about it, just charged it to my card. So not only this place is bad enough already, they’re predatory too. If you need another reason not to live here; I found out East Colonial is not safe to live in to begin with. EDIT: giving this place a one star review now because they are charging me an ADDITIONAL fee for THE SAME THING. When $100 was already deducted from my account for it. Comes to show how predatory this place is. I contacted the property no response yet. Please live on UCF campus if you’re a student. This place IS NOT worth it at all.
