If I could give this place zero stars, I would. My student recently moved out of The Pointe and I am absolutely in shock at the way this complex is run. The entire place is a disorganized mess, and the staff? Completely unprofessional, rude, and for the record not qualified to be working in student housing. The staff in general act like they’re doing you a favor just by acknowledging your existence. Emails and calls go ignored, concerns are never addressed, and when you go to the front office you're met with eye-rolls and sarcasm. I’ve never encountered such unprofessionalism from people who are supposed to be helping young adults feel safe and supported in their homes. If you’re unlucky enough to deal with Abby, brace yourself. Her attitude is downright NASTY. She is condescending, dismissive, inhumane, and completely incapable of handling even the smallest issue without making it worse. My daughter and her roommates told me that every time they had to speak to her things became more stressful and that’s saying something in a place that’s already a disaster. Along with this, the apartments are poorly maintained!! Mold, pests, broken appliances, Wi-Fi constantly down, etc. Maintenance takes forever (if they even show up), and my student has said that they will walk into apartments with no notice at all. Oh, and let’s not forget! A car was stolen on the property earlier this year!! Yes, stolen. So much for being a “gated” community. Security is a joke. This place charges students at every opportunity, offers no real support, and doesn't care at all about legitimate problems. Once the lease is signed, you’re on your own. Good luck getting help from anyone in that office. My student is finally out of that place, and I’m beyond relieved. If you’re a parent considering The Pointe at Central, do not make the same mistake we did. There are other options in the UCF area and this one is not worth the money, stress, or total lack of respect.

I leased at the Pointe from Fall 2020 to Spring 2021. Good place to live if you're on a budget. Maintenance was always super fast to respond to any requests and leasing staff were always kind. They offer free printing and have a spacious study area in the clubhouse. Staff really makes an effort to organize fun activities for tenants, there were many food socials and recreational activities to get to know others. Cons are that the walls are thin and gate security is not the best. Parking is not an issue, but visitors may have to walk 2-4min from the closest visitor parking space. I never saw a single cockroach and there wasnt any mold in my apt. I really enjoyed my time at the pointe and look back on it fondly

I wish this review could be higher, but the experience here for me isn’t to the concern of the RA’s. I’ve been dealing with complaints since 2025 with a loud resident above me. I’ve spoken with the RA office filing reports and continuous calls to courtesy officers during the night (just called as of 1/21 at 1 am) and no response. It feels like the staff just want me to “deal with it” as I even emailed the manager Brooke with my concern but no response with clear voice memos of the infraction. This complex has “quiet hours” that just don’t seem to be enough. Maybe this google review will get someone to answer me and get a resolution so a resident that pays lots of money for rent could at minimum get good sleep :)

Good value for the money you pay, but the office is terrible and useless if you need any help. They hare the least helpful in any situation when they're supposed to be the first people you contact. I have had infestations, lost packages, and highly disruptive neighbors. All of which fall on deaf ears when brought to the office's attention. The cheaper rent comes at the cost of your sanity

Horrible experience. Went to move in and found my apartment in a horrible mess, rags all over the kitchen. What’s worse we found opioids and narcan in the space. Moldy clothes were in the washing machine and moldy dishes in the dishwasher. I talked to the highest management, (or so I was told) who only said it was a cleanliness issue and that it would have to be resolved by me talking to the dirty roommate. Prescription drugs and mold sounds like more than cleanliness, but we were not given any opportunity to actually take care of the issue.
