I’ve lived at The Lofts for two years, and I wanted to leave an honest review for anyone considering living here. There are some positives, but there are also several issues that residents should know about. Pros * Nice amenities, including the pool and gym. * Resident events throughout the year that help people meet one another. * Apartments are generally maintained once issues are reported. * Convenient location close to UCF, grocery stores, and restaurants. * Shuttle service to and from campus. * friendly staff Cons * Rent has increased significantly each year, and there are student apartments nearby that offer similar quality for a lower price. * Parking fee on top of rent * limited visitor parking, making it difficult to having friends or family visit * The Wi-Fi is unreliable and has gone out multiple times, including during important school periods such as finals * The property is older, so there always seems to be some type of renovation or construction taking place * unhoused around the property, including near dumpsters * have encountered a few roaches and other pests in my apartment My Personal Experience The biggest issue I experienced was flooding. My apartment flooded twice, rendering my unit unlivable. It took weeks before everything was fully restored, and I was not offered compensation or assistance despite the disruption. Another disappointing experience involved my lease renewal. I renewed early because residents were encouraged to lock in their rates before they increased. Later, the same floor plan was advertised for more than $100 less per month. I asked whether my renewal rate could be adjusted to match the current advertised rate, but my request was denied. I understand that apartment pricing changes based on market conditions. However, it’s frustrating to commit early only to see lower prices offered afterward. Overall, The Lofts has some good amenities and a convenient location, however my experience has been overshadowed by recurring maintenance issues, unreliable Wi-Fi, and a lack of flexibility when problems arose. I hope management continues improving the resident experience, especially when long-term residents experience significant issues.

Living here is great, maintenance is 5 stars, Front desk crew is awesome (shoutout justin, he’s always been a great help and works hard to make sure me and my crew feel at home at the lofts) there are some problems. The state of the apartment moving in was pretty bad, bathrooms were dirty, kitchen was dirty, it smelled like weed (went away after 24 hours). There are a bunch of renovated items in the apartment but it was lazily done. Fridge dosent fit properly neither does the stove, some drawers don’t open, faucet was not properly attached at all, dryer tubes were disconnected when we got there and washer was broken, closets don’t fit properly and constantly come undone, downstairs bathroom renovated but not the upstairs, rug stains. It was like there was not any care for who moved in after just that they moved in and we had to figure it out after. that being said if you’re okay with some cleaning and maintenance orders then you get a great price, high ceilings, good commodities, fun events, constant new things (new improved wifi just installed), and great staff (shoutout justin again).

After touring more than 10 different places, we decided to sign a lease here. The rooms are very spacious and well maintained, and the property itself is kept up nicely. The amenities are really great, and the location is perfect—right between Valencia College and UCF. The pricing is very competitive, especially with the specials they offer for summer term move-ins. Josiah took his time showing us around and was incredibly kind. He answered all of my “mom questions” and made the whole process feel easy. If you’re looking for housing for your college student, I definitely recommend touring The Lofts.

The lofts staff have always been so kind to me and I am very excited to be living there next year! The gym got great updates and I look forward to utilizing their covered basketball court. I would also like to thank Justin for his hospitality and recommendation to stay here, I was skeptical at first but with his reassurance I now feel very happy with my choice.

I would not recommend living here when me and my roommate first moved in we were told our apartment would be ready by our lease. Then we received calls saying we have to stay in a 4x2 until it is done which stayed in for a month with no reduced rent or refund for the time there, and we now have had to completely pack our things as if we were moving out because they want to do renovations, painting, and the flooring all at different times months apart from each other. This place has no care about their tenants and is overpriced for it.
