I've had the pleasure of speaking with Stephanie in the leasing office on multiple occasions, and she is always patient and helpful in answering questions. The maintenance team - Heriberto - is quick to respond and address maintenance tickets that are submitted. Finally, the move-in process was very organized, no long car lines, and plenty of parking during that weekend. So far, we (parents and students) are very happy with our experince at The 9!!!

The apartment is okay, definitely over-priced. Don’t be fooled by “luxury” advertisements, just as cheaply made as the other nearby apartments, just newer. You’ll definitely see water damage, broken locks, mold, fruit flies, roaches, and silverfish. Security is subpar, there have been multiple crimes and random people wandering but the leasing office never says anything to residents. Cars get hit in the garage all the time because people zoom through. They added cheap speed bumps that people bypass all the time while zooming. Also, there are only twenty guest parking spots total- a few of which are reserved for “future residents” and staff depending on the time of day. Cleanliness is also an issue, you’ll often see spills, smears, and trash that sit for a good amount of time. I and multiple residents had to complain before maggots were cleaned up from trash that had been sitting outside one of the apartments for days. Roommates in the apartments next to me were moved because their unit was filled with black mold. The leasing office never mentioned anything to or checked neighboring units, we found out from one of the residents in the mold unit. Fire alarms go off no matter the time of day. You never know if it's a true emergency because once again the leasing office never follows up. Pricey is very shady, there’s no rhyme or reason they try to squeeze as much money as they can out of college students. They harass you to re-sign within a month of you moving, I know because it happened to me both of my leasing terms. I paid $1200 monthly for a 5x5, now they're offering $719. Communication is awful, I’ve been told incorrect things numerous times from multiple leasing assistants, you can barely get in touch with management and they change staff frequently. Everything’s okay until you actually need something. Since I’ve moved-out, I've been charged on three separate occasions- $100 for final utility, $125 mandatory cleaning fee (mind you my room was dusty and unclean upon my move-in), $115 for paint. I asked for clarification on the full paint charge, since part of what they’re claiming as “damage” existed prior to my move-in two years ago and only showed one instance of minor paint chips. I’ve been ignored and now forced to pay since all bills get sent to collection at the end of the month. No one actually cares about resident concerns. Don’t be fooled by false reviews written by staff and residents for giftcards, and the generic “we’re sorry about your experience, how can we fix it” comments are just bs for them to not look bad.

Heberto is the BEST maintenance guy out here! He’s super quick to come and fix things and will go out of his way to help you out! The apartment has its quirks just like any other, but the maintenance crew is really good about fixing things in a timely manner!Thanks, Heberto!

My younger brother is a UCF student and lives at The 9, and Alyssa has been so helpful anytime he’s had questions or concerns with his apartment. She’s always super nice and quick to help out. It’s been really nice knowing he has someone there who actually listens and makes sure things get taken care of.😊

After visiting several rental locations we walked in to the 9 and knew this was the place! The professionalism, cleanliness, and inviting atmosphere left all others in the dust. The General Manager Matthew and his staff run a very tight ship. A special thank you to Stephanie for answering all our questions. Our son is going to love this place. 5 STARS
