My daughter has been at the green for one year now and she loved it. So we signed up for another year. We ran into a problem with the lease this year, so I called and spoke with Dylan and he worked with me for 3 hours off and on to get it solved. He went above and beyond and helped so much in figuring out the situation. He was incredible. Shout out to Dylan. The staff at the green have always been so helpful. The location of this place is awesome if you’re going to UVU and the amenities are so fun. I’d definitely recommend you anyone moving to this area for school.

The beautiful woman in the front…Liv Graham I believe her name was is an angel here on earth. I was standing out, thinking and pondering about moving into the Green when I saw a small fragile bird perishing out front. She came outside and nurtured that poor soul back to life and I witnessed the whole thing go down. After watching this miracle unfold, I had a lovely conversation with Liv and she told me about how that kind of love and care is just what The Green is all about. And that’s beautiful. That is the kind of environment and hospitality that I want to be a part of. Now because of Liv and the kindness that she has demonstrated I want to live at The Green for the rest of my life.

Mae was SO wonderful on the phone. She was kind and accommodating. She answered my questions and was eager to assist me with the things I needed help with. Great costumer service!

This has been a bad enough experience to prompt me to write a one-star review, which I have never had to do before. I lived there for eight months and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone. Not because of the facilities, but because of the dishonesty. While I didn't love my roommates, I wouldn't pin that on the Green since I never complained to them. However, when the time came to move out, I cleaned for six hours with the hope of getting my full deposit back. My roommates were not moving out of the complex but were moving out of our apartment and for whatever reason weren't scheduled to move out for another week after my lease was up. As a result, most of the time I spent cleaning was likely undone by the time they finally got around to doing cleaning checks. I took pictures though (posted below), and when I showed the front desk staff when I checked out they said that they had never seen a unit so spotless and that if I didn't get my full deposit back then nobody deserved to. Needless to say, I did not get my full deposit back. After all that, I decided that it wasn't worth throwing a fit over $50 (which I really should have) and just waited to get the other $200 of my deposit back. Three months went by and not a single sign of it. Once I had finally had enough I called them. They sent me to a third party, because apparently they don't handle their own billing to residents (??) and after I called back and forth between the Green and their third-party transaction manager, I found out that they had sent the security deposit check to the apartment that I had moved out of! WHY? Why are they even mailing a check? It's not 1990 anymore! You have my bank details, you took rent directly out of my checking account, so just direct deposit it into my account! That's what they would do if they actually wanted to give you back your deposit, but they clearly pad their profits by making the whole process as much of a headache as possible so that people give up. I talked with the third party (who was very professional and helpful) and they said that they would speak with the Green about re-issuing the security deposit check and sending it to my current address. Finally, I thought. I can just be done with this. Not so. The check was re-issued, but, once again, it was sent to the address that I had moved out of (and at this point I hadn't lived in for four months). And when I tried to call, I got put on hold for a while before the line was disconnected. I am an understanding and patient person, having worked in fast food and retail for most of my adult life up until this point, but enough is enough. Nobody ever gets held accountable, their office is dysfunctional, which I guess is what happens when you hire part-time college students at a high turnover rate. In their minds, they can pay them less and pin all the blame on them. I don’t place the blame on the front desk staff, they were nice and I’m sure they would help me if they could, but whatever is going on at a management/organizational level is a result of either horrible incompetence, willful maliciousness, or perhaps a bit of both. TLDR: Don't live here unless you want your money stolen. Don't let them lure you in with the pool and hot tubs and cool gimmicks. They don't make up for how seedy their whole scheme is. They will do whatever they can get away with to squeeze as much money out of you as possible and make it as hard as possible to work with them. They will say you failed cleaning checks when the rooms look like the below photos. They will raise your rent every three months without telling you. Just do yourself a favor and live somewhere else.

It’s been a few years (lived there August ‘22- Jan ‘23 ) but I figured it was time to share my experience at The Green. 1. The Switch I got my email with the information for my roommates and it had listed out who they would be and their contact information. You can imagine my shock when on move in day, a woman who I never had contact with (who was also much older than me.) moved into our apartment with a dog. I was told that a form had to be signed if you were okay if your roommate had a dog. This roommate was mostly fine besides the dog barking on occasion, but still. Some communication would have been great. 2. The new roommate. Shortly into the fall semester, our other roommate sold her lease. A new girl moved in who appeared to be nice. One night she came home blacked out drunk, broke beer bottles and dumped other alcohol all over the floor, and then went into her room. I had to clean this all up. When I went down to the office to express my concern, they said they would leave a notice on her door. They did, but they also said that she couldn’t bring alcohol into an apartment with people under 18. So she started bringing it in unlabeled containers so they couldn’t confirm. I didn’t care that she had alcohol, it was the irresponsible use of it on multiple occasions. Of course, she was hungover the next morning when she came into my friend’s room to ask us to sign the aforementioned form about pets. She told us her and her boyfriend shared an ESA animal, which I told her isn’t possible, and she yelled at me. Later on, she would yell at us for moving anything, stole my stuff and then said “it’s what roommates do” and broke a mug of mine and tried to hide it. All of these concerns were brought up to the office with no avail. 3. Selling your lease I decided to do the Disney College Program, and started the awful process of selling my lease. I put my name on the waitlist and hoped for the best while posting on social media. They helped my friend sell her lease, but when I asked about mine they said there was nothing they could do. There is also a major fee (it was $250 back then) to sell your lease. I finally found someone to transfer and after much issue, I moved out. 4. Security Deposit While on my Disney College Program, I realized I never received my deposit back. I didn’t get word that there was anything wrong with my apartment, so I reached out. They confirmed I should get the whole amount back, and said they’d send the check that week. I had to call, 5 weeks in a row and was told that it was being “sent that week” or “in the mail” I finally had my adults call them and the check was sent the next week for real. They were nice by sending it to me in Florida. Anyway, that’s just the start, and even though that was almost 4 years ago and I’ve graduated, I’ll never forget the nightmare. I wouldn’t recommend living g here, and by the sound of it, it’s gotten worse :,(
