Gets 2 stars because fridge, stove, dishwasher are nice, plus washer and dryer on unit. Maintenance is very responsive. Chief complaints: PRICE. I’m in the smallest floor plan and it’s still over $1000 a month with utilities and the other fees they make you pay. The $850 they quote online? Hah. Yeah, no. It’s a pretty tiny space; not worth it. It’s basically a hotel room that you have to furnish. UNCOVERED parking for an extra $125 a MONTH!? Ridiculous. And now the only other available parking lot is getting demolished. If you don’t wanna cough up another $125 per month, parking is atrocious. Fruit flies. Everywhere. Can’t get rid of them. All year long. We’ve tried everything. It’s awful. They fly in our food while we’re eating. So nasty. Apparently it’s an apartment-wide issue. NOISE. It’s right next to a hospital, police station, and fire station. Sirens wailing at all hours, no soundproofing whatsoever. Plus, some kids without mufflers like to tear all up and down Dodge at all hours too. This isn’t the apartment’s fault, but you should know that there’s so much construction in the area, and it just never seems to end. Makes it really difficult and stressful to navigate. Knowing what I know now, I would not have moved here.

The traveler apartments used to be owned by green slate but transferred management. Greenslate was very knowledgeable and gave very fast help all the time. No matter what the time of day, they always assured we could reach them and always helped without worry. The new management is not very good. It's been one week since they came into management and I've tried calling, emailing, texting and calling again. Nothing. No response. Very disappointed. Was going to stay another year but this sealed the deal.

I lived at The Traveler for four years and overall enjoyed my stay. The room itself was fine, and it was nice to have a roof over my head. However, parking was a major issue. The free parking was unusable, so I paid $125/month for an outdoor spot—an obvious money grab. Even then, people often parked in my space, and I got to know the towing company well. The parking lot sometimes felt unsafe due to loitering by non-residents (one actually hit my neighbors car and drove off). Noise was another issue. The upstairs neighbors frequently held what sounded like “wrestling” or “bowling” matches at 2–3 a.m., though the front office did respond to complaints. My biggest frustration came when moving out. I gave a 60-day notice via message, which they acknowledged—but later insisted on a separate 30-day notice, charged me a fee by taking my deposit. That said, Ava was fantastic and made a real difference during my time there. Best of luck to future residents.

Currently a resident at the traveler, nice modern apartments, fairly priced but parking is an abomination. $125 a month for a unsheltered parking spot -_- or you can fight the guests of the two hotels bordering the traveler building for a spot. More than half the time we're required to park in the don and millies parking lot over night as there is no other choice. Also the elevator is needing repaired near weekly at this point. Maintenance does respond quickly.

NO way stay away. fees galore for everything! i should have gone elsewhere. parking is horrible. $125 for parking which can easily bring up your rent to $1900. residents are rude, transients are all over outside the building area, no one cleans after their dogs. you cannot walk in any grass area at all. trash is always over flowing the cans around the building, and they stay like that for a long time. i recommend looking elesewhere.
