Do yourself a favor and don’t live at Millennium Apartments. This was easily the worst apartment experience I’ve ever had. I dealt with roaches, mold, water problems, broken gates and doors that were supposed to keep people out, and “new and improved management” that barely communicated with me. I’m posting pictures of everything, including the roaches, black mold inspection, broken security, and the police report, so people can see it for themselves. (Not letting me upload the pictures of the year-round broken gates, doors, and entryways.) Anyone can literally walk in and go anywhere in the apartment complex. I’ve seen homeless people in the parking garage more than I’ve seen security, which leads to my next point. My truck was broken into three different times while I lived here. With including the windows came up to over $2000 lost. Good luck trying getting police to help when there is only three cameras in the entire unsecured parking garage. What’s the point of paying to live in a “secure and gated” apartment when the gates and building doors are constantly broken or left open, no security and lack of cameras? The “new” management was honestly the most frustrating part. Just for one instance I spent three months trying to relet my apartment, and they kept making it sound like things were moving forward. Every time I asked for an update, I either got no response or another excuse after waiting days. They were absolutely just leading me on while I kept paying rent. Don’t fall for the “new and improved” management propaganda, the new management came from The Flats in which they were run out from. Read up on it and it will explain plenty. For the amount of money they charge, this place is not worth it. The lack of security, the endless maintenance issues, and the poor communication made living here for a whole year a constant headache. I wish I had listened to the bad reviews before signing my lease. If you’re looking at Millennium, save yourself the stress and find somewhere else.

Millennium is the DIRTIEST and MOST DANGEROUS apartment complex. Do not pay attention to any of the good reviews; they pay people to leave good reviews. There has been piles of trash laying around. Whenever millennium tries to address the problem, they only halfway fix it and then it comes back within a week. The appliances in my apartment are constantly breaking, and I have to ask them many times to fix it for it to finally be fixed. Millennium is incredibly unsafe. There’s broken glass all over the grounds, and old furniture sitting around outside attracting all sorts of bugs and rodents. All of the doors in the building are broken and I’ve asked them to fix it many times and they refuse. There’s constantly vomit and urine in the hallways. Additionally, when you try to get a hold of someone to fix the issues, the number you can call is just an AI bot and the email is answered by an AI bot. The management and people working at millennium are extremely rude. UPDATE: Even though Millennium commented and said they would fix these issues, they have done NOTHING. These problems are getting WORSE. Update: 5/26: they have done NOTHING to fix these issues

This place is HORRIBLE! My partner and I first moved in during the middle of January due to school, and we were pressured into renewing our lease before living here for awhile. They’ll tell you units are going fast, and you have to renew asap and you’ll get a special offer. In our case, we renewed and were supposed to get two months free along with February or March free due to us moving in before 01/31/2026, which was their promotion at the time. It is currently March 30th of 2026, and we have NOT received a “free month.” They told us our “free month,” was not paying anything for the month of January and we were not charged. We were charged move in fees on our portal, yet they claim we did not pay anything for January. Still waiting on our free month of rent btw lol. Also they charge anything activity fee just for them to hand out sad slices of pizza every month or give out goodie bags, but you can only get them if you write a good review (which is why there are some good reviews lol). When you tour the apartments, they only let you see the model unit which is done up very nicely, but in the REAL units, you’ll deal with roaches, uncleanliness at move in, unknown stains on everything, couches not cleaned at move in, and unanswered emails and phone calls. This place is actually horrible. Don’t even bother trying to room here, they take advantage of students by marketing it as “inspired student living,” and then charge crazy unknown fees, and when you question them about it, they make it known that they either “don’t know,” or just play it off like anything they say goes. The hallways constantly smell because they don’t ever clean them as far as mopping or sweeping, constant stains on the hallways everywhere and trash. They charge a valet trash fee just for your trash to sit out for hours, causing the hallways to reek. I’ve only been here for almost 4 months, and I wish I never renewed. The flats apartments down the street are also owned by the same company and they deal with the same uncleanliness and inhabitable conditions, don’t start a lease there either. Save yourself the trouble PLEASE.

Do not sign here, believe the review score. Our unit was in terrible condition on move-in, obviously hadn't been cleaned, the AC filter was dated nearly a year and a half old and CAKED in dust and hair. We also had a very prolific roach problem, found a good 4-5 dead in the kitchen cabinets just when moving in, and continued to deal with them for several months. It's incredibly difficult to communicate with the landlords & maintenance. For instance, if your AC goes out and they can't fix it that day promising a follow up, they aren't coming back without another ticket. Or, when I initially signed, it took months of reaching out to get the rate & waived fees I was promised. Chains of correspondence usually end in silence or a corporate-speak nothingburger reply that “acknowledges” your concerns but doesn’t address them in any meaningful way (see the replies to the reviews here). Generally, the condition/cleanliness of the building & amenities is quite poor. Roaches are prolific, internet is unreliable and trash is often piled up. Antibacterial wipes in the gym are very rarely stocked. If you get a package and it isn't delivered to a locker, it's left unattended on a pile to be stolen (as has happened to me). The final straw that made me write this review… On top of your terrible experience while living here, and having to spend ages correcting basic information before moving in, you cannot even enjoy the last month and move-out process in peace without having entirely cosmetic renovations forced upon you with no rent reduction or concession offered, forcing you to move out and back into your own bedroom a month before move out while you're still paying rent to accommodate their poor planning. Again, please do not sign here, the building fails at even the most basic level of being able to sit at peace in your own room while paying for it. If you're apartment hunting, also consider that Montara Park and The Flats are owned by the same corporation responsible for the conditions here. Look elsewhere.

This place is absolutely disgusting. I’ve had a roach problem from the moment I moved in last summer, and I’ve honestly put more effort into dealing with it than the apartments ever have. Their “solution” is to send in some low effort pest control guy once a week who just sprays ridiculous amounts of chemicals everywhere to the point where I can barely breathe in my own apartment. And guess what? The roaches are still here. The conditions in this complex are completely unacceptable. The hallways constantly smell like something died, which is probably due to the trash they claim is taken out daily but clearly isn’t. It’s unsanitary, embarrassing, and honestly feels like a health hazard. What’s even worse is they’ll likely respond to this pretending they care and saying they’ll “look into it” and “I’m sorry to hear that,” but nothing ever changes. It’s all for show. Don’t be fooled this place is poorly managed, neglected, and unsafe to live in. UPDATE: Whatever they just responded with is not true. There is nothing professional about the pest control crew or the treatment. I have documentation showing they were here last week on April 23rd, so any claim otherwise is false. I’ve been submitting requests and complaints since November, and my most recent request was in April, not “over a month ago” like they’re trying to say. So if what they’re claiming is actually true, then that would mean they’ve been entering my apartment illegally and spraying an unhealthy amount of chemicals on a weekly basis, which is completely unacceptable. This just shows how completely unaware and unresponsive these apartments are to ongoing issues.
