The Innternationale House, newark-de

Have some friends who have stayed here; it's a good option for the short term... Close to campus, reasonable amenities, not alot of space but this may vary from room to room. Also good to pay for rent and utilities all in one. You have to share bath and kitchen, but at least you don't need to buy and sell furniture. Be careful that the person you share your bathroom with is of similar expectations in regards to cleanliness.

We spend two month at the Innternationale. Randy and his assistants are very kind and helpful. And there are lots of opportunities to meet nice people at the Inn. However, it is very dirty there. Especially the shared kitchens are so dirty, we would not even use them. There is a bad smell all over the house. The room was dirty, especially the bathroom and the matresses were very worn out. For these condotions the price for a room is way to high. The washing-machine and the dryer have to be payed seperately but they don't work very well, so you have to pay three times to get your clothes dried once. The wifi doesn't work, neither do the vacuums. All in all we would not recommend staying at the Inn. There are better and cheaper options in this area.

Expensive and poorly cleaned. I live there for a little bit more than 2 months, and know a lot of people that have lived there. A lot of complaints regarding the administration, and the hygiene of bedrooms and kitchens. There was one case of a student that was asked to leave because someone else was willing to pay more for his room. It looks like the administration cares only about the money. Newark deserves better short-term lease lodging offerings.

Yes, it is not 5 stars all inclusive hotel, but for temporary living it fits perfectly. And, the most impressive in The INNternationale is Randy Becker, the most pleasant and hospitable director I ever seen.

Randy is great! He will try to his best to accommodate you and make you feel welcome as do the other folks at the INN.
