Can't beat this location!! So close to subway and Grand Central. Rented a 2 room verbo for 8 days. I would definatly recommend it if weren't for the building having very unpredictable hot water. In our 8 days I was able to have only 2 hot showers, in the middle of the night. We did mention this to the front desk attendant and told us to reach out to host. I jumped up out of bed one night around 3am, as soon as my roomie told me water was hot. Unfortunatly this made my stay unacceptable due to paying over $2000 for the week. After touristing around in the NYcity air every day all I wanted before I got into my clean sheets was to wash off. Every time I put on chapstick my lips would be gritty from the air so I knew dirt was all in my hair and on body. There was an electric hot water kettle that we could fill bathtub with but took forever. Elevator worked good and THE BEST part about our stay was The Jane Doe bar open til 4am!! All the residents of The Mansfield I met at the bar, were wonderful people and all confirmed the hot water is an issue. So The Mansfield may be a better option for short trips?

I had a very disappointing experience with Mansfield. It has been over 3 months, and I still have not received my security deposit ($1,560) and prorated rent refund ($1,475), despite multiple confirmations that the refund would be processed. I have been in continuous communication with their support team (fllat team), but they only provide vague responses and are unable to give any clear payment date or resolution timeline. In addition, the overall experience did not match what was promised. I was relocated multiple times during my stay, and the room I received was not as agreed or as shown in the listing. The conditions were also significantly below expectations, including a prolonged period without hot water. It is particularly concerning to see similar complaints from other tenants regarding delayed or missing deposit refunds. This situation is extremely frustrating and unacceptable. A refund should not take months, especially after it has already been approved. I would strongly advise others to be cautious when dealing with this company, particularly regarding deposits, refunds, and the accuracy of what is being offered. I hope this matter is resolved promptly.

I had the opportunity to reside at Mansfield Residence during my university exchange program in New York. The property benefits from a prime location with convenient access to key areas across the city. It also offers a strong sense of security, with controlled entry via digital code and on-site front desk staff available to assist residents as needed. In addition, the residence provides high-quality amenities, including a coworking lounge, a terrace, and a fitness center. The units are fully furnished, allowing for a seamless and efficient move-in experience. Overall, my stay was extremely positive, and I would like to extend my sincere thanks to the sales team: Alex, Husyar, Rosie, and Freddy, for their professionalism and support throughout my stay!

This was our January 2026 experience. We VRBO'd This location for 5 nights When we arrived late and we were assigned Room 1201.Top floor front, street side. The room was large and clean and well appointed. There was a huge glass window with no real insulation value. We could feel the cold. Unfortunately the central heating did not operate. The room was about 60 degrees. I adjusted the thermostat to max heat and I saw the call for heat icon. (full disclosure I a have extensive HVAC background) The fan came on and we waited for warm air. It never arrived. Cool air only. We found 2 heaters in the closet and got them going. Over the next couple of days we contacted management a few times finally a guy came. He acted like I didn't know what I was talking about. He said he was going to get in trouble because I was complaining. I explained I wanted the heat system to work. He told me he'd come back and never did. Also they shorted us on towels and the light comforters were very thin for rooms that were unheated. No hand towels or face towels. Other than that we got what we paid for. Excellent location. Be sure to bring an extra blanket and towels. if you rent here.

Mélodie was truly amazing! She is very kind, responsive, and friendly. She supported me throughout the entire booking process, from my arrival until the end, and her help was really valuable. It made a big difference compared to agencies where you don’t get that human touch. The residence is well located and clean. Thank you :)
