I had a great experience with June Homes. The move-in process was smooth, the apartment matched the listing, and the support team was responsive whenever I had questions. I especially appreciated how flexible and convenient everything was compared to a traditional lease. The place was clean, well-maintained, and in a great location.

My experience with June Homes has been mixed, and unfortunately, based on my experience, I would be hesitant to extend my stay or book with them again. While the concept is convenient, there have been several issues throughout my stay that have made the experience more stressful than it should be. 1. Parking and access issues One of the most frustrating situations involved parking. I was not provided with a gate code or a clicker to access the parking area. As a result, I had to ask a neighbor for assistance just to be able to access the parking area. What made this particularly frustrating was that I had previously been advised by June Homes not to assist a neighbor when they had asked me for a favor. It felt very hypocritical to be told not to help other residents while I was put in a position where I had to rely on a neighbor for basic access that should have been provided to me by management in the first place. I understand that mistakes happen, but access to the property is a basic part of providing housing, and I should not have had to depend on another resident to resolve an issue that was created by the company. 2. Roommate issues and feeling singled out Another major concern has been how roommate-related issues have been handled. I have repeatedly felt singled out regarding complaints involving a roommate, despite the fact that this roommate has never actually spoken to me directly about any concerns. What is especially frustrating is that I have been made to feel as though I am responsible for certain issues without being presented with clear evidence or specific information supporting those claims. I am completely willing to address legitimate concerns and follow reasonable house rules, but I don't think it is fair to repeatedly single someone out without providing them with the opportunity to understand exactly what they are being accused of or what evidence supports the complaint. Communication and transparency are extremely important when multiple people are sharing a home. Instead, these situations have left me feeling uncomfortable and unfairly targeted. 3. Maintenance and property issues There have also been recurring maintenance concerns during my stay. At times, there has been no hot water, which is obviously a significant inconvenience when you are paying to live in a property. There have also been instances of the roof leaking, which raises concerns about the overall maintenance and condition of the property. I understand that maintenance issues can happen in any building, but when you combine these problems with the parking/access issues and roommate-related concerns, it starts to feel like there are too many recurring issues to overlook. Overall, my experience with June Homes has not been terrible in every respect, but there have been enough problems that I would personally be hesitant to extend my stay. If you are considering booking with June Homes, I would recommend being very careful and making sure you fully understand the property's policies, parking arrangements, guest/roommate policies, and what support is actually available when problems arise. For me, the biggest issue is not that mistakes happen, it is how those issues are handled. I would have much more confidence in the company if communication were more consistent, residents were treated more fairly, and basic property issues were addressed more reliably.

Andres & Nelly Real Estate agents in New York City- False advertising! June Homes showcase photos in their adds which is far off from reality. It is one thing that photos sometimes don’t match and it is completely different if they are selling furnished units to working professionals and taking a fee for cleaning and not providing the services as advertised. Inside of Window and window seal in my room if covered with layers of dusty and grim. The curtains have never been washed. It is filthy and disgusting! I was very shocked after I have paid full first month, second month, security deposit and locked in for a 6 months lease. This is not professional and terrible customer service. They also do not provide support although they are taking a fee every month for maintenance and support ( which is separate from utilities cost). We are paying for cleaning and bathroom and living room and kitchen is very dirty and layers of dust and dirt. When was the last time the common areas were cleaned? Would really appreciate someone responding to my email and providing some resolution. Appreciate your time and help.

All of the bad experiences you are reading are all true. I spent three years under the June Homes thumb. Absurd charges, awful support, lies, manipulation, deception, the list goes on. There is an initial appeal to their service, but it is definitely not worth it. One of my biggest issues with them is at any point during your lease, they will contact you to let you know someone is interested in your room (at the end of your lease). If you want to continue staying there, you have 24 hours to respond and commit to another lease renewal! Otherwise you give up any ability to renew your lease after that. I was contacted many times about this. I argued that how am I supposed to make a decision about where I want to live, possibly 6 to 10 months into the future, with only 24 hours notice. Their response was “we want to ensure you have the first chance to renew, and someone else needs a place to live so we can’t ignore that”. Say what?! What about me? Your current tenant! All they care about is getting their next lease renewal and avoiding any issues that you bring up to them along the way. Another time I had a problem with them… I had submitted a ticket for support. The issue was resolved (not to my satisfaction) and afterwards you get a chance to rate their support. I left a “thumbs down” review and was harassed by them every day for two weeks to change my review. I did not change it, and I told them if they don’t stop harassing me, I will press charges against them. I will never use their service again, and I will continue leaving bad reviews about them on every platform that I can because people should be avoiding them at all costs.

I stayed with June Homes for 6 months in Brighton, MA (Boston). Overall a great experience. Obviously living with strangers mean the place cant be as clean as you may want to and may not be as cozy. But overall everyone was respectful, the place was quiet to coexist. the condition of the apartment was old and more cluttered than the photos but not alarmingly gross like ones I have seen reviewed. If you're just looking for a place to stay short term for a couple months for work/school, this is still a decent choice.
