If you are considering living here I would weigh the pros and cons. Pros: - close to campus if you are an SOM student and East Rock - small gym in the basement - in unit washer and dryer Cons: - electricity bills of up to $600 a month during winter - heaters do not work well and somehow you still feel cold after paying $600 for electricity and your heat is on full blast - if you are living in the basement it is prone to intense flooding - due to intense flooding there is mold that grows, particularly in the closets and will ruin a lot of your clothing or personal items - Management is not the best at handling these situations. Our apartment flooded a total of 6 times and little was done to handle the situation until the penultimate time. Even after they “fixed” the flooding situation our apartment flooded shortly after. Additionally, they dismiss most of your concerns. When we brought up mold issues, they were quick to say there wasn’t any mold but that they would send someone to come inspect it. After the inspection they stated the apartment was fine. After being gone a couple of weeks and coming back mold had grown exponentially throughout our apartment. Management again refused to hire a professional to come do a mold remediation. They went as far as setting up an appointment to have someone look at the mold but then cancelled it without notifying us. Overall, I would take a lot of time to make a decision to live here if I were considering signing a lease.

Plato's court is a nice apartment building. The location is great. Just 100m from Yale SOM. And most are students living here. Delivery is convenient and secure into the building. Every apartment has own washing and drying machine too. Comes fully furnished so that's an extra point. The property manager is helpful too.

Convenient parking - it's my second year using the facility - and attentive property manager.
