If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. You’re honestly better off throwing your money out the window than signing a lease here. The rent is already expensive, and then you get hit with hidden fees that seem to pop up everywhere. The value just isn’t there. The gym was one of the biggest disappointments. Multiple pieces of equipment were broken for months and nothing was ever fixed. It’s frustrating when you’re paying so much to live somewhere that advertises amenities they don’t properly maintain. Overall, management didn’t seem to care about addressing issues, and the experience was incredibly disappointing. There are so many better apartment options in the area. Save yourself the money, the stress, and the frustration—do not live here.

I’ve lived at the verve for the past two years now and they have made the experience very enjoyable. My older sister also lived at the verve when she went to Rutgers. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful! I have met so many new friends at the verve and can’t wait to continue living here! It has really shaped my college experience in the most positive way!

I lived at The Verve in New Brunswick while subleasing for my summer internship, and my experience was extremely disappointing. I was charged for damages that were already there before I moved in, despite clearly inheriting them from the previous resident. Management seemed determined to find any excuse to add extra charges instead of addressing the issue fairly. On top of that, I was left responsible for cleaning and removing belongings left behind by previous roommates who had already moved out. The policies and the way these situations are handled feel very one-sided and unfair to tenants, especially subleasers. I would strongly recommend documenting everything if you choose to live here, and proceed with caution.

The Verve is the best place to live on campus!! The staff is so nice and super helpful, and there are so many great amenities such as free spray tans! Wouldn’t want to live anywhere else🥰

So much Hidden fees, overly priced, 11 months lease for 12 months rent, Apartments are in great condition and nicely furnished but still not worth with this pricing if you dont find someone to sublease student will end up paying 2.5 months rent for empty apartment once college is closed for summer vacation and they chose to go home or other state for internships.
