Cobalt Row, murfreesboro-tn

I have lived here for 2 years and I absolutely love it! I love how spacious the floor plans are, the pool during the summer, the 24/7 Clubhouse access which includes access to the gym and study rooms upstairs! I also love the shuttle that runs to and from campus, super convenient to not have to fight for parking on campus! I did the "roommate matching" option for my second year of living here since I renewed in my 4BR but didn't have any roommates for the upcoming lease term and I couldn't have been matched up with anyone better!

Every time I grace the grounds of cobalt row I know I’m in luck for a good time. Just pulling into the cobalt row entrance I get giddy with excitement. The kind of excitement you feel way down deep in the cockles of your heart. The pool is where I met the love of my life. My Wife. Sometimes I stare at the stars and wonder who is responsible for bringing us together? The answer, Cobalt. Cobalt did that. Cobalt row does more than just house strangers, it houses a family. And I truly feel that every time I am in cobalt. Or as what me and wife say Heaven. So thank you cobalt, thank you.

I don’t recommend living here. Don’t get me wrong it’s nice but I’ve had a lot of issues since moving in 2 years ago. First off, we were told if we signed the lease right then the price would be locked in. Secondly, I put in many request for my fridge because it kept leaking and they would come “fix it” and not even a day later it was leaking again (We weren’t even offered any other options). When you move into an apartment you expect it to be clean right? Well at cobalt row when you move in you get complimentary bras and underwear under your dresser 🤩 let’s not forget about that lovely security that’s only there for maybe 2 days out of the week. My roommates car was stolen and when we asked for footage they were not very nice about getting it for her. This is also a pet friendly place but you can’t hire a pet sitter!

This complex has very poor management and is run by 20 year olds. The apartments are not well kept despite the multiple damage charges that you get after moving out that would make you assume they’re completely renovating the place. I don’t think the carpet in my room had ever been cleaned or changed since the place was probably built, it was so matted and dirty it could be considered hardwood. Believe all the other reviews that say they will give you fraudulent charges after you move out despite leaving the place better than you found it. We bought our own paint in order to repaint the walls( by the way, you have to go to a sherwin williams store to get it, because it’s so cheap nowhere else can match it) and shampooed the carpet ourselves, just to receive a damage charge for a full bedroom repaint and carpet clean. The second floor bedrooms get no airflow, so if you don’t like your room being 80° even though the A/C is on, don’t live here. The furniture you pay extra for is terrible and already broken, and just a pain. I’ve had to send multiple emails about the damage dispute so that I can get their photos that they claim show the damage and barely hear a response. I’ll include a picture of my room when I moved out to show what warranted hundreds of dollars in “damages”.

Great living experience all around with a solid workforce behind them to make you feel heard and valued as a renter. Front office is great and the maintenance crew is always happy to help fix or replace things right away. Colbalt Row 🐐
