1540 Place Apartments, murfreesboro-tn

I have lived here the past 3 years. First 2 year weren’t as bad, you get what you pay for basically. Within the past year I wouldn’t recommend this apartment complex to anybody. There are better options, NOTHING is renovated since I’ve lived there. Everything has mold or smells like mold. Trash and mess everywhere . The pictures attached have been within the last month. Safety is a joke, within the spand of the last 6 month there was been two shootings. Also, they will not answer the phone because it shows caller ID and shows the person’s name. I’ve had to use my boyfriend’s phone number in order to get in contact with them. New staff will not acknowledge you when you enter the office. And when they do assistance you they give you an attitude. If you see good reviews it because they give out gift cards or rewards residents for putting a fake good reviews. Safe your time and look for other apartments.

The apartments aren’t bad not the best either but there website says immediate move in available that is false advertisement. They only offer move ins on the 2 an 13 of each month. Take it off the website and don’t let people waste their money on a application fee then tell them oh we don’t do immediate move ins anymore

Apartments are filled with mold and management doesn’t do anything about it. Say they’ll come check it out the day of the request but no one actually pulls through. The maintenance team is incompetent. Cant fix a leaking refrigerator so the refrigerator leaks every day probably causing more mold for the downstairs unit. Shooting outside like every other month. Ambulance and police officers every other day. A lot of breaking in cars/units. Would not recommend anyone to live in a place like this.

To start all MTSU students I would avoid living here at all costs. When I moved in the apartment was disgusting (most pictures are from the day I moved in + ants in the sink and well) and still is to this day. I don’t keep any of my stuff in the refrigerator because it’s dead gnat infested and I don’t have any cabinet space for my dishes. I want to break my lease but I genuinely won’t give this apartment complex any more of my money for this disgusting apartment nor have anyone else live here.

All these low ratings are true & I wish these reviews were here before I moved here in August. From overcharging & lying about payment dues and amounts, constant overflow of trash, shady consultants & management, worthless WiFi & maintenance, & worst of all GNATS & MOLD. This place isn’t habitable at all & should be completely demolished. I notified them my apartment had mold & a leaking sink & nothing was done about it. After 2 weeks of the smell, gnats, and mold I became (& still) very sick! I’ve returned my keys & left but they’re still trying to pin payments against me & now avoiding my calls. I’m sure they’ll respond to this review with a fake apology from the fake owner telling me to call so they can continue to ignore my calls & emails. They responded real quick when my attorney contacted them so I guess I’ll go that route again. They take advantage of students & young people looking for affordable living & every one there should be ashamed. New management or not they knew those units were nasty. For the sake of your health, safety, & sanity, DO NOT MOVE HERE.
