The Campus Edge, muncie-in

My husband and I have rented with Campus Edge for two years and have never had a problem with them! The maintenance guys are always super nice and courteous, and maintenance requests are responded to within 24 hours. Everyone at Campus Edge is very kind and easy to work with! We definitely plan to rent with them for the foreseeable future.

The Campus Edge was my first residence after moving back to Muncie, a lucky break given my subsequent experiences renting from others. They are prompt, careful, and have some very nice downtown apartments if you can catch an opening. Locally owned and persevered, they're a fantastic alternative to the impersonal and uninvolved apartment leasing otherwise available in Muncie.

It is always concerning when there is a change in ownership of the place you call home. However, in the three plus years that The Campus Edge has owned and managed the duplex that my wife and I have rented for a long while, their service has been excellent. They chose to honor all our existing lease terms even when the lease came up for renewal. Rent increases have been modest and few. Lease renewal has been simple. Dan and his team seem to truly care about people. They treat their tenants as customers who have a choice in where they live. Office staff including Joann and Dillon are reachable, responsive and helpful. Specifically, Melissa recently helped me resolve an odd billing issue. Maintenance Manager Jason is always helpful and consistently brings a good attitude to his work. Maintenance requests are easy to submit online. They are taken seriously and response time is always quick. Bottom Line: In terms of Muncie area rentals, you could certainly do a lot worse and would be hard-pressed to find anyone better.

I have lived under 3 different rental companies during my time at Ball State, and The Campus Edge is the only one I feel comfortable giving 5 stars to. Melissa walked my roommates and I through every step of the leasing process and really set the tone that this company cares about a quality housing experience, as opposed to some companies that bounce you from employee to employee during the process. We haven’t had many maintenance issues because the house was in good living condition upon move-in (as it should be). One minor issue we had with the exterior of the house was repaired without a maintenance request even being made. The Campus Edge sets the bar high for quality housing in Muncie, I only wish I would have looked into them sooner!

I have never reviewed a landlord before but I have to say - the Campus Edge folks are the best! We love our apartment and especially appreciate the people that make up the team. Dan, Jason, Melissa, Ross - everyone is always friendly, helpful, quick to respond, and very considerate of us as people, not just a rent check. It's been a refreshing experience and we have no hesitation in recommending them after several years of living here! :)
