DO NOT RENT HERE. This has been the worst rental experience I’ve ever had, and I would strongly encourage anyone considering Linden Place Apartments to look elsewhere. Management is extremely difficult to get ahold of. Phone calls often go unanswered, and when you are able to speak with someone, getting issues resolved is frustrating and slow. When we moved in, there was a hole in one of our bathrooms that was never repaired despite us bringing it to management’s attention. Because it was left unrepaired, a raccoon was able to get into our apartment. We also regularly see raccoons around the property, which has been an ongoing concern. Safety has also been an issue. There have been vehicle break-ins, yet there are no security cameras around the property to help deter crime or provide evidence when incidents occur. Another major problem was the lack of transparency before signing the lease. We were never told that the apartments are all-electric. As a result, our utility bills have been incredibly expensive—over $600 per month for just three people. If this had been disclosed upfront, I would not have signed the lease. The “parking garage” is disappointing and not nearly as useful as it’s advertised. In addition, the bottom-floor apartments are poorly insulated, so we have to run the heat much more than expected just to keep the apartment comfortable. This has made our already expensive electric bill even higher. Overall, we’ve dealt with poor communication, unresolved maintenance issues, a raccoon entering our apartment because of an unrepaired hole, frequent wildlife around the property, concerns about vehicle break-ins without security cameras, and unexpectedly high utility costs. I rarely leave negative reviews, but I genuinely wish someone had warned me before I signed my lease. I hope this review helps someone else make a more informed decision.

if I could put zero stars, I would we’ve called over 30 times about getting our AC fixed for the past 2 1/2 weeks no one has came to fix it. They keep telling us it’s fixed and it’s not it’s been over 90° in our apartment and now that we’re officially moved in, we haven’t even been staying here because it’s so hot. We have had horrible customer service they’ve hung up on us while getting frustrated. The whole experience has been terrible definitely do not sign a lease here and expect things to go smoothly.. we have closet doors that have fallen off the hinges every single one in the apartment has fallen off, which has also failed to be fixed and through all of this, we have paid two months of rent already and nothing has helped or been fixed

!! PLEASE READ BEFORE RENTING HERE !! I want to make this review to be able to save anybody who could be potentially looking for their first apartment or any apartment and save them from being absolutely screwed like my boyfriend and I were. This company is preying on young college student individuals and it seems like something fishy is 100% going on. When we first moved in, everything was fine we didn’t have many problems, but we very abruptly, had to move out and make a quick move to another state due to personal reasons. This was communicated with the Leasing office and we were informed that we would have to find someone to rent out the rest of our lease contract or pay out the rest of our lease contract, which was completely fair so we started doing as much work as we could to find someone to rent out our place, but we weren’t able to find one by the time we had to move out. We were still paying rent for our apartment in Silvertree communities while paying rent at our home currently. At the end of February, they called us and they informed us that there may be someone who would be interested in moving in and they were giving him a tour of our unit, coming up was the weekend going into March 1 and I asked them to give us a call before 1 of March so we would know if we would have to pay March rent or if that tenant would want to move into our apartment and they would pay march rent. They never reached out to us and we ended up having to pay rent and then on March 2 they told us that they already moved him into our unit over the weekend WITHOUT TELLING US and then they asked if we could still pay the subleasing fee, which was our base rent 1195. This Was after we had just paid $1400 for March rent they wanted to collect an extra rent from us even though they already moved someone in without communicating. We were very frustrated and tried to speak to the property manager Kandi and she was extremely rude to us over the phone, which we have a video of and said she basically didn’t care that they didn’t reach back out to us, and they still needed an extra rent from us even though we just paid rent. We said we just paid $1400 to you guys in rent And paying rent where we live now we cannot afford to pay you guys another subleasing fee When we didn’t even know this person was moving in and Kandis Response to this was “well i guess we will just send it to collections then”. We were able to fight this and they end up owing us $800. Well, since March, we have not received that check and they have sent it to the wrong addresses and they told us that we need to return the check to be able to get the new check but we never received the first check because they never sent it. We are still waiting on our $800 check that they owe us and they will not send it. There is 100% something going on shady here. I don’t know what kind of operation they are running, but it seems to me that they are trying to pocket extra money. Please save yourself from having to get into this mess and do not live here

Literally the worst place lmao when I first moved in the ac was broken and my washer was broken took almost 3-4 weeks to fix it. The unit does not look like the show unit the paint is chipped literally everything is lopsided in there…my door barely shut and lastly the ac literally fell out of the wall they could care less about the property there was trash all outside, never shoveled the snow my car was literally blocked innnnn. If you visit now you will see 2 mattresses sitting outside that’s been there for like a month

If I can rate zero star, I would! Our experience with Silvertree has been extremely stressful. At the end of our lease in August, they initially tried to reinterpret the lease terms to charge us more money. I had to argue with them for a long time, but they kept insisting until my wife sought help from the university’s legal aid office. Only then did they change their tone and promised that our security deposit would be returned within 45 days. However, it’s now been months since our lease ended, and we still haven’t received the deposit. This ongoing issue has caused a lot of unnecessary stress in our lives. I hope they can take responsibility and treat tenants more fairly in the future. If you’re considering renting here, please think twice.
