Campus Rentals, muncie-in

Maintenance Roy has been the absolute best at maintaining properties and swiftly helping maintenance needs. My power, confusingly went out the other day and he came over within a few minutes to investigate the issue. He found out the issue and not only told us, but contacted the electrician and electric company to fix it asap. He also has gotten my rental house a new washing machine within a timely manner when my washing machine broke down. The landlords he has worked under for 25+ years are the sweetest and they do the best at upkeeping their properties.

Logan (technician) came to fix our garbage disposal and dishwasher. he was the 2nd maintenance guy to come look at it. he had it fixed in 15 minutes, double checked his worked, cleaned up all of his mess, and put everything under our sink back exactly how he found it. he answered all of our questions in a positive, descriptive manner. he was the most helpful, friendly, and respectful maintenance technician we’ve had all year!

Campus Rentals has been great to us! We had some electrical issues and needed a faucet changed out and Gary helped us quickly & efficiently!! Everyone has been so kind and helpful.

I have been in the world of renting for quite some time and have seen the good and the bad. Campus Rentals has BY FAR been the BEST experience I have had. They are easy to work with, easy to contact in an emergency, fairly priced, and I feel like I am always listened to and valued - special shout out to Haylee Holland :) Top tier customer service all around and would rent from them again!

EDIT: I was told to reach out October 21st to appeal my final account statement… so I reached out and they completely ignored my emails. This company is a joke! I lived with Campus Rentals for the past 3 years, and I have never been more relieved to be done with this company. They hide behind this facade they’ve created when, in reality, they are schemey with predatory practices toward students. On my second house with them, upon move-out, I cleaned the entire house for 5 hours, yet I still received a bill full of ridiculous charges and a $300 “professional cleaning” charge. When I moved in, there was hair EVERYWHERE, trash left behind, and even cat poop and litter on the floors and doors. The property manager admitted the cleaners do not normally handle houses that size, so evidently it wasn’t cleaned. I reached out to the previous tenant about their final bill, only to see they were charged $400 for a “professional” clean that clearly was never done. So where is the money going??? That told me everything I needed to know. They have you fill out a move-in form to turn in, but they never seem to even look at it when you move out. Every year, I always made sure to fill it out and note everything yet I am always charged for things that are on the inspection form. Aside from that, their office is a revolving door, so you can never actually get a hold of anyone, and if you do, good luck. The front desk staff never seems to know what’s going on, and the people who do are extremely rude and unprofessional. Their idea of customer service is truly appalling. They’d rather argue with you to be “right” than actually make the situation right. To anyone looking at the reviews, majority of the 5-star ones are from employees or people who have just leased and haven’t even lived in their properties yet. All of the low ratings are unfortunately so accurate. Documentation and pictures are everything especially if you want to get your security deposit back.
