UNCOMMON Dinkytown, minneapolis-mn

I lived at UNCOMMON for 3 years and had a great experience. Maintenance always complete requests same-day and communicated with me if there were to be delays. I have recommended many friends to live at UNCOMMON because of how much I enjoyed it. Any concerns that came up in my time here were acknowledged and resolved- with staff members that actually cared and wanted to help. With UNCOMMON being a smaller property I have always appreciated how chill the environment is. The gym and Yoga Studio are never too busy, the hot tub is actually clean and nightly security makes me feel safe. I feel like the property is always making upgrades to keep the spaces nice- re-painting halls, replacing flooring and getting new furniture in units when needed! Love this place!

I recently came in as a walk in to tour Uncommon and I was pleasantly suprised at how friendly the front desk staff was! Genevieve was lead our tour and she was very knowledgeable on the building! The selling point for me and my roommates was the balcony on the 6th floor. We love to study outside and this is going to be super great in the warming months!

I have had no problems living at Uncommon. It’s only a 10 minute walk to my classes and less than 5 minutes to a bunch of restaurants. Genevieve helped me sign my lease and my experience has been nothing but great. The year round hot tub is also a big bonus. My friends and I use it weekly.

I lived at Uncommon my sophomore year at the University of Minnesota. It was a great experience. The staff host a ton of residents events to win free stuff. Genevieve ran the last “Grocery Bingo” and it was so much fun. I won a weeks worth of food! I would definitely recommend living here. It’s quiet but in the perfect location to dinkytown.

Uncommon is my favorite place! When I toured 2 years ago it was the first place and I toured and I immediately fell in love. I looked at lots of other places, but ultimately this was where I was meant to be. The staff is amazing, everyone is so nice, maintenance is always handled quickly and with care, the amenities are so nice. This place feels like home each and every day and I can’t wait to come back each day!
