I’ve had a great experience living in a 2 bed / 2 bath apartment at The Bridges in Dinkytown. The layout is super spacious and perfect for having roommates while still having your own privacy. I also have a dog, and it’s been very pet-friendly. Never had issues Maintenance has been really quick whenever we’ve needed something fixed. they respond fast and get things done efficiently. The front desk staff are always nice, helpful!! The view from the apt is AMAZING Overall I would recommend! Lived here for 2 years

Staff is underwhelming, not available when you need them the most. Maintenance crew is great, apartment spaces and views are cool, and that's about it. Amenities are lacking cleanliness and also barely available, expect to actually be able to use about 25% of what they offer. Prices are high but negotiable by decent concessions. An important thing to consider is your privacy and security as a tenant. Read the contract very well because they can come in your "home" whenever they please, they don't care to kick you out if they please, they try to charge you without noticing as much as they can, till the last penny. Mind you this is designed mostly for students so they know what they are doing to take advantage of that. Also parking SUCKS, not enough parking available I asked for two years and they just put me on a ghost waitlist. And if you park your car in the little guest parking lot that they have, even for an hour, they will tow your car even if you live there. It's so bad they did it twice to me while I lived there and I was moving in. Almost like they have an agreement with the worst towing company in the city (scammers) aka CEDAR TOWING, worst kind of people they don't even try to be respectful. Expect to find a lot of trouble parking outside or inviting guests over. Also I didn't miss a single payment for the 2 years I lived there and they screwed my perfect credit score at the end with some bs move out fees that they even forgot to notify me for until the collection agency did. The place just happened to be at at advantageous position and price for me at the time but I wouldn't go back, just be mindful and defensive of everything there specially if you're younger and naive like a first time student-resident. They are not going to try to protect or help you. Also almost impossible to get the attention of management or front desk staff, they are only available when nobody needs them. They're not there to work, let alone to be kind. The only good staff are the maintenance and night security who are hired from outside companies. Even hard to get your own mailed packages there's no access without an employee, yet somehow a lot of them get stolen mostly during weekends and holidays. There's better and newer options around but you still decide to move in there make sure you write off any inconsistencies in the apartment first or they will charge you for every tiny scratch or dirt. All in all it doesn't seem so bad till you already moved in.

I’ve lived here for 2 years and overall really like it, maintenance is always on top of it, front desk people are super helpful. The only issue that I’ve had that hasn’t been resolved is extremely high monthly utility bills during summer months (have been up to $200-$300 compared to $20-$50 in months I don’t use the AC) because my AC doesn’t work very well and doesn’t stay at the temperature I set it to, so I’m pretty sure it just drains electricity. Maintenance won’t replace it because “it’s running.” Considering that’s the only serious issue I’ve had within 2 years though I would overall recommend living here.

As a long-time vendor working with The Bridges, I can confidently say they are one of the best property management teams we’ve collaborated with. They value quality craftsmanship, respect timelines, and show genuine care for their properties and the vendors who help keep them in excellent condition. A true pleasure to work with—earning every one of those 5 stars!

Dakota worked with my roommates and I to secure a short term lease for the fall. She was great, communicative, and was so helpful throughout the process. It was definitely a stressful time trying to find a sub-lease, but Dakota ensured that she was with us every step of the way!
