Love Northstar, especially the maintenance team! Shoutout to Ken and David! They are always on top of it and working hard. They are awesome to talk to and appreciate how prompt they are, even when it's busy! They deserve a raise! Shoutout to you to Jane! Always prompt with responding to emails. Great group of people here!

I highly regret choosing the Northstar largely due to its lack of parking and proximity to the train tracks. If you plan on having a vehicle while you live here, I’d choose a different place. There is around 20 paid public parking spaces on the street which everyone shares, a private uncovered lot of 8, and a private covered lot of close to 50 with a 45 person waitlist. That leaves zero nearby parking for around 75% of their residents. Also, the trains are much louder than I could have imagined but it’s something you can get used to. I’m counting the days until I can move out and I will forever do more research than I did going into this place. If the company sees this, I hope you’re called to find better parking solutions for your residents.

I thoroughly enjoyed Northstar. Advantages included strong and consistent internet, buildings kept incredibly clean. Very safe/secure. Management is responsive and helpful. Outdoor patio with TV, comfortable furniture, overlooking the baseball field and the football practice field is a great place to hang out and relax.

I highly recommend living here! The apartments are unique and spacious, with some sweet views of the UMN athletic facilities. Beyond the apartments, what truly made living at NorthStar special was the outstanding management team. From day one, they knew me by name and were always present in the building to answer questions. They had all sorts of fun events, such as pizza nights, soup nights, and bagel Fridays. This was a huge win in an area where most apartments have management teams that take advantage of students. I truly cannot speak more highly of Greg, Emily, and Jane.

BEST APARTMENT EVER!!! you seriously cannot find a better apartment complex than Northstar. management is so friendly and communicative. the views are insane and so worth it. and the prices are amazing for what you get.
