Westown Green, milwaukee-wi

I’ve been living here for a year and some change at this point, I love it here and I’m sad I’ll be having to move out when I’m done with my schooling. The apartment units are really nice, the rooms are spacious and well kept. The facilities are very nice, like the gym and the common areas are very up to date and well kept. They take serious precautions with your mail and security in the building. Justin is the best! He is so helpful and nice, very efficient! Also, maintenance is very easy and quick to reach if you ever have a problem with something in your apartment! The whole building in general is well kept with cleaning very often. I enjoy living here and would recommend it to anyone!

My son moved into Westown Green back in August, as he is now a student at MATC. Justin has been extremely helpful throughout the entire process. I could not be happier with the building location, the security, the cleanliness of the apartment, the amenities, and the ease with which we are able to manage our payments. I highly recommend Westown Green to any student looking for housing in the downtown Milwaukee area.

I would definitely recommend Westown Green! Management is amazing, Justin was always very helpful. Apartments are very nice and updated, and I felt safe for the most part. There were homeless people in the back stairwell and in the lobby on occasion, and I had to contact the police but it was always dealt with. After finding homeless people in the back stairwell, we avoided it at all costs seeing as once you went in, you could not go back up to your floor and the only way to go was down where the homeless people were. I was a bit disappointed on move in day when I noticed our two windows were blocked by pillars, and facing inwards towards other people’s apartments. The building was kept fairly clean and had an amazing gym. All in all this was a great place to live and a wonderful experience for me and my girlfriend, I definitely would suggest some sort of security in the building though!

I lived here for a year and feel that it was a great home. Though, being in downtown milwaukee on the west side of the river does make you feel unsafe with the sheer amount of creepy homeless men; especially as a woman. That is a big issue at this place. I’ve personally had to call the police at least over 6 times from homeless people being inside the building. It seems like nobody else cares that they are there. The main issue was finding homeless people repeatedly sleeping at the bottom of the stairwell well over 10 times. I had to pass through them every single time since the door locks at the top of the stairs. One even jumped out to scare me; I wish I was kidding. It is a massive safety concern and it was extremely stressful on me as well as my girlfriend. We both contacted management about the issue and I was even told we would soon have on site security; which never happened. Other than that management was extremely pleasant and helpful! Going back to the safety issue, one would think having a key-fob being the only way to access the building would make it safe but that is clearly not the case. Another instance of homeless on the property was in the parking garage. The garage door is supposed to be closed unless in use but somehow there is always homeless behind the elevator during the winter time. In all our apartment was decent but we did only have two windows which both faced inward looking into other westown apartments. Women especially please be careful of the safety issues and always be with someone.

The rooms and facilities were always clean and orderly. The property offers a lot of amenities and the property manager, Justin, is beyond professional, courteous and friendly. His presence in the property makes it what it is today.
