So they’re essentially making us move out to do renovations, WHILE WE STILL LIVE HERE, for an unknown amount of time while putting all of your stuff in the closets or the bathtubs. They also want you to either take your pets out of the apartment or leave them in a cage, again, for an unknown amount of time. They also don’t send any emails regarding when maintenance is coming as I have had maintenance show up without any prior warning. Another thing is that they have harassed one of my friends who also lives here as he also left a 1 star review and then proceeded to call him incessantly as well as his guarantors which is highly unacceptable. They have also increased rent for new tenants coming in by over $100. I signed here because it was cheaper and now it’s owned by the same company that owns the other apartment complexes here in Milledgeville. They have no consideration for those who are actively living here and do what ever they want because we pay rent. Edit: So they started renovations and it’s a mess. They said that they were doing flooring for our unit, and they instead painted our entire apartment. There’s stuff all over the floors, the paint is still wet, the power is off in of the rooms, and they have broken stuff of mine that should have been safe. I’m so incredibly furious and disappointed. I can’t believe this is legal at all, these aren’t live able conditions.

I was satisfied with my experience at Revelry until new management took over recently. We have been asked to completely pack up and move out our belongings from our bedrooms for completely unnecessary renovations while still under an active lease for 7-10 days. These are pictures taken of the conditions we’ve been having to live in for a week now. As someone who is moving out of Milledgeville in the summer to attend grad school, this has been really inconvenient for me, as I'm basically having to pack up all of my belongings and move out, move back in, and then pack up my belongings and move out again in the span of four months. These renovations have created an enormous amount of stress and disruption for residents who have built their routines and lives here. It’s clear that this new management puts profit over all else and does not value us. My roommates and I are have been forced to rent out a storage unit and avoid being at our own apartment that we pay rent for all week, despite management claiming over and over again that “we don’t have to move out.” It feels unreasonable to expect us (many of whom are college students in the middle of their semester) to shoulder that burden for upgrades that are obviously not urgent or essential just so they can increase prices for future tenants. My roommates have already renewed their lease for next year, and it genuinely frustrates me knowing they’ll have to continue dealing with this management for another year. It’s unfair that they’re now locked into a situation that has already become so stressful and disappointing.

Avoid this place if you can help it. Not sure where to start my review… The apartment is gross but whatever, it’s for college students so I could ignore that. Throughout the year appliances didn’t work, some replaced and others not. They found things to charge us for like trash left by someone in the outdoor breezeway (who knows who did that) and a broken window shade (which was likely 20 years old and brittle and they charged $50 to replace it). The electric bill for my one child is over $100 a month, after the $25 credit revelry gives you. They charge for the last three months of utilities based on the April bill rather than using the meter reading, even though my son won’t even be there. It’s hard to get anyone on the phone. I would try to find a different apartment if you can. I’ll also add that the renovation was super inconvenient at the end of the school year, and the new cabinets are nice—the photos are after the renovation, with busted appliances that my guess is they are going to try to charge us for after move out.

Making us move everything and our personal belongings to do renovations at a weeks notice. Post renovation update and I genuinely don’t know how my house could be left in such disarray. Dust is everywhere and my belongings are strewn about like trash. Even in the closet where I was told my stuff would be safe is disgusting. Everything has a thin layer of paint dust on it. There is mud on my shower curtain where someone stepped on it, my toilet lid is broken now, my Alexa has somehow been painted over and I am too over it to even tell maintenance because I’m tired of random people being in my house. Warning residents you will not be able to live at ur apartment during renovations which is why I wonder why not during the summer?

I've lived at Revelry for three years now and honestly it's been a great experience! The management team is super responsive and actually communicates with residents, which is rare. They send text updates about everything : maintenance issues, events, changes happening around the property, so you're never left in the dark about what's going on. The online portal makes requesting maintenance super easy, and they actually fix things quickly. No waiting weeks for something to get done. They're currently doing some renovations to make the place even nicer, and they've been pretty good about keeping residents updated throughout the whole process. Location is perfect, about a 15 minute walk to campus and just a few more minutes to get downtown. Super convenient for class and going out. Parking is great too, which is honestly a huge relief compared to some other places near campus. The amenities are honestly better than I expected. There's a study room with FREE printing (seriously saves me so much money as a student), a coffee/tea bar, a solid gym with free weights and cardio equipment, a tanning bed, pool for spring/summer, and even a gaming room to hang with friends. Package pickup is super organized, you get notifications when stuff arrives and the whole system is secure and easy. One thing I really appreciate is that it's pretty quiet and residents generally keep to themselves. You're not dealing with constant noise or drama, which makes it way easier to focus on school. Overall, would definitely recommend Revelry if you're looking for a place near campus with good management and solid amenities!
